Jeffrey Osborne a very underrated singer in my opinion

Ironically, This was the Song that sprung Jeffery Osbourne into one of the Great Balladeers of all time. He was LTD's Drummer and the producers brought the song to the original lead singer who did not want to do it and they asked Jeffery to give it a try and the rest is History

When I tell you that this song is part of the soundtrack to my life, I mean it. This song is in my top 10 of love songs. PERIOD! Jeffrey Osbourne, lead singer, sang the hell out of this song! Yasss! Love.

This one brought tears. To see a real man, sing about his true feelings like that was beautiful beyond words. The feeling he put into the sound was like he cut open his heart and poured it out for all the world to see. So respectful, so kind, so pure. Look at the dancers, How inspired they were to hold each other tenderly and lovingly. Not sexually, but lovingly. That is what is missing today that is so hard to explain to the younger folks. That slow dance feeling is more beautiful, fun and lasting than any of the vulgar moves that lead to disrespecting women today. This is the kind of music and dancing I wish our daughters could enjoy and have as memories of their youth. The way we did.. Soul Train is magical. I never tire of watching their videos. It was the best dance show on television. :)

I've said this before about the song "You Are My Starship" by Norman Conners, but this is another song that every black woman of a certain age knows, and every black man of that age has sung to his woman. Jeffrey Osborne just has a great voice. Try him doing "Back In Love Again" with LTD, and "Stay With Me Tonight", "On The Wings Of Love", "You Should Be Mine (my personal favorite)", and " Only Human" as a solo artist.
