IMO a huge problem is Minecraft's community isn't what it used to be anymore. It's objectively bigger, but that's made it a lot harder to foster communities within the game. Back when I first started playing in the early 2010s, you could find tons of community run servers that were just groups of people playing the game, creating structures together, and just having a good time. Nowadays almost every server you encounter is a for-profit P2W scheme. It's usually not people playing Minecraft, it's people playing minigames with a bunch of random people they've never met and then logging off when they get bored. Minecraft lost its sense of community when for-profit minigame servers became the norm over vanilla servers. Minecraft's community has gotten bigger, but ironically it's never felt lonelier than it does today.

Not to sound like the Joker but I have a strong belief that society, at least Western Society, has greatly lost sense of community as well. Maybe we all find late 70s to early 90s charming because WE WERE charming. Nowadays we just send a "wsp" and call that a successful day of socializing with someone. Nowadays we worship ideologies that lead to loneliness, nowadays we make fun of people who are happy or at least try to be... and worse It's like what tf has happened to all of us?

Legacy Console Edition hit different. I feel like it was the perfect version of Minecraft, and this is coming from a java player. You had a small world to shape with your friends, and had fun and worked together. Now, people will build mega farms and play modded, removing the vanilla and simple concept of Minecraft. People download mc mods to have more stuff but it makes things to complex to enjoy. The creativity should come from the players, Minecraft should be simple and we expand on that. Remember when getting diamonds was an accomplishment? Now we find diamonds in the first 30 mins to an hour of a world. And no one can just enjoy singleplayer, it's hard to enjoy a world alone if you don't record it, we don't *just* play anymore. Minecraft will still be my favorite game, but the main reason I still play is friends or servers, You won't see me on a singleplayer world alone, I always invite friends or play hypixel and stuff. It's hard to make fun out of a game you've played for over 10 years. You feel like you've done all you want and the only thing spicing it up is your friends, but they fall under the same thing as you, and everyone will slowly stop playing on that world, than you'll start a new one, than that'll end. I miss the old minecraft, I miss my old self who genuinely enjoyed minecraft. I play with this mod called Legacy4J, and it makes me sad. It's hard for me to move on and forget the past like so many others, I feel empty and want that joy of fulfillment of achieving something new and learning while I play, now I know everything about mc and just repeat. If I can go back in time, I'd play old mc again and enjoy every little bit of it. There's a reason it was the best selling game.

if that were the spirit of the game, it makes me wish mojang leant harder into the modularity and had more options that altered things about a world, like maybe making more mobs capable of destroying things with better ai to reach you. or disabling even more features like enchants, or hunger, or skipping the night with sleep. or options that change player movement like being able to climb, run slower, or leap farther. im not saying these are universal things that make the game better, but if the idea was to create our own ideal minecraft experience, i don't think theyve done a very good job of encouraging it, instead expecting you to walk into a world with default settings and do whatever you want, even though the default game design fails to give any kind of extrinsic motivation other than mining, looting structures, and booking it for the ender dragon. i get it, its a creative game, being open ended is the point. but i feel that the way theyve gone about it just creates a sense of aimlessness. i dont know about you, but i dont like the idea that by virtue of the fact i seemingly cant overcome this aimlessness without mods, that vanilla minecraft just isn't for me, and it shouldnt update to appeal to players who share similar issues. and if it really depended on how i want to play, then how am i finding the experience so boring after a week despite that? if they cant figure out a default experience that makes everyone happy, then fine, thats understandable, i can respect that. but if the idea is to tweak settings to your liking, then i feel they havent done a good job of that outside datapacks, and unfortunately i am no coder.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, you are correct. Everyone should be able to play it how they like. On the other, in many cases you just aren't able to without... 'unnecessary measures?'. In multiplayer there will be at least one person who uses the "meta" for resource gathering, and on SMP servers with an economy, not using the meta will leave your wallet sufficiently dry (unless you provide a service or non-farmable resource). It's just not possible to forbid use of the meta and also be number one. I've seen that every feature someone doesn't like -- "just don't use it." Every feature that someone wants, "just mod it in! (given you have programming expertise)" is this how we are supposed to treat every moddable game? is it your fault for not customizing things exactly how you see fit? aaah!! !!
@FlushDesert22
@FlushDesert22 17 күн бұрын
@@dandyspacedandy I agree with the first paragraph, having options is good most of the time. My guess on why those options aren't in the game right now is because either they're planning on adding them, but they just haven't made it into the game yet, or because most people wont use them, however, in my opinion, just because most people don't use an option doesn't mean that option shouldn't be added since there are people who would use it. However, with the second and third paragraph, and correct me if I'm wrong, you're saying you want there to be more in-game reasons to do things. Why? You can't do things just to do them? You can't just do something because you want to do it? That sounds like a skill issue to me. Isn't the whole point of Minecraft to do things because you want to do them, not because they serve purposes in the game?

i wholeheartedly agree, its about making your own fun and not caring about mojang making the game subconsiously make you pick "the right track". at it's core, its a sandbox game, and you are the one mkaing the big decisions. i have almost barely used shields, not only do they take up a lot of the screen, i prefer a more active playstyle of dodging (if you strafe good enough you can dodge skeletons fairly consistently) at some point i decided i would stop using villagers in my world all together (barring few exceptions, like items that are unobtainable in other ways, like the earth banner). i thought about moving the villagers from the "trading hall" (that i made a very long time ago, in order to get mending and enchantments easily) to an actual village, and prettying the village up. so, no 20 stone -> emerald trade, shit is busted. also the trades for diamond armor and tools, making diamonds you mine feel less important i also ruled out using mending in my world (thats a little harsh but i like it), because getting god tools and armor and never having them break is boring, i want to get a fairly good pick, keep repairing it until its too expensive to do so and then make a new one! (like ye olden days 8) ) sorta recently i stopped using the elytra as well, instead opting to make horse roads/minecart roads, cuz having to set up infrastructure for faster travel is AWESOME!! imagine IRL railways, lots of resources used, logistics, so you can transport resources, people... shit is cool as heck i almost never sleep either, and i would not even think of beds if not for phantoms (you can just get in the bed or click it and leave, and the phantoms will stop spawning). seeing all my builds at night is nice, this way i know where to light it up and stuff and regarding the old textures, ohh yeah, not only do i use the programmer art pack, but also supplementary packs that make the new textures look like they were made before the texture update, i recommend DeveloperArt+ by shmoobalizer. i also made a little pack that removes almost all of the new tracks, because personally the "adventurous" vibe of most of them doesnt fit with just chilling and building, they moreso fit for when im fighting mobs and exploring some dangerous cave or something you know? and a lot of them are biome locked, like WHY. theres only a small chance that i will be in that biome when the music is scheduled to play "having purpose in a build" is also a great point, something i learned from Etho and his legendary lets play. its mostly how he likes it, that is, the majority of the time he wants to build with a purpose, almost never going purely for looks. and that makes sense cuz if you need something, maybe food, you make a place for farming it or something like that, hopefully you get what i mean. spreading your builds out more also creates realistic and practical opportunities for TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE!!!

One other thing is DON'T plan everything in advance you know why? The pressure will burn you out before you started instead make your buildings one by one they don't need to be big & super detailed to be proud of. You also don't need to build it in one go. Leave your build if you feel like you've stucked & doesn't know what to do. Don't panic just leave the project & continue working on it later. One additional thing to point out. Building big projects feels intimidating but instead of seeing it as one massive structure you can split it into multiple smaller floors or rooms it will help tremendously.

A way to fix this, and i have done with all my friends is this. Disable insomnia, Disable Raids Farms, disable string dupers, disable structure generation. On week 2 of the server spawn in an end portal at 0 0 after we all build a cool hub for it. We all beat the dragon together, no using of elytra (just advancements). No giving out the seed (spoofing the seed too), add ore limiter which makes ores much much more rarer, iron is diamond lever rare, and diamonds are abt 5 per chunk, netherite is 1 per chunk. Give netherite upgrade on week 6 of the server, and dupe it. No op farms like raid farms. etc. We don't use tp, if we do we have a 3 tp per player rule. which allows you to tp only 3 times to a player only if both players are ok with it. No nether roof (just for cool builds), No full bright, No sleeping, Hardcore or Hard version. This creates the best experience for me and my friends. If you want to explore ancient cities or trial chambers just make your own plugin to enable them from spawning. Make everybody use sounds on, use in game voicechat mod (proximity is sooo cool), not discord. Don't make a 24/7 minecraft server, play when everybody plays, don't be toxic keep the fun vibe. Don't tryhard. And overall have fun, every rule can be ignored, as long as you have fun :). We usually also do keepInventory on some "building worlds" where we want to build as much as we can.

First of all: this is so well written and made, for example in 2:36, that sentence really is something else. Second of all: I believe a huge factor in why minecraft isn't fun anymore is mojang's bad decisions and updates made to bring attention. Some updates were real good like the caves and cliffs of the recent trial one, but as you said they can't work in an already broken game. Minecraft used to be fun because people didn't know what they were doing, but instead just having a good time. Now the normal minecraft progression is: find village, make iron and villager farm, trade iron for emeralds, buy endgame gear in a few hours of playing, get blaze rods, beat game, build more farms, get bored. You can't just expect people to actively try to make the game fun. And the thing is everyone is complaining, that they don't have anything to do after they get everything in their worlds, but that's the point of beating the game, the problem is that the process of beating the game lacks adventure and challenge, unlike in most other (good games). I think that minecraft is an awesome game, bringing tons of people together, but it should be treated right and not be a money making tool

This is by far the best video on this topic that I've seen. I think you hit the bulls-eye here in saying that many players are too concerned with efficiency. I like making farms and contraptions as much as the next person but it inevitably becomes the only thing I end up doing. Sure enough, whenever I go and do random things like mining or building things with whatever I have on hand-or even better, doing it with friends-I have a lot more fun. As someone who plays online a lot of the time I feel like the community around the game has also kind of latched onto the idea of "efficiency" to the point of becoming somewhat toxic. Yet I feel that the best part about playing Minecraft online is by far the opportunity for role playing. In PvP minigames, one of my favorite things to do is screwing around with people. Usually this involves sparing people, coming up with deals, and getting revenge for past transgressions. I've tried going for efficiency before (this would be called "tryharding" in this context), like by practicing PvP, memorizing maps and all that, but I don't find it very fun. That's in part due to the fact that I'm not good at PvP but it also makes games end way too quick, and that's not very fun. I finished playing a free-for-all griefing-enabled SMP a few months ago and I can say that the best part was not relentlessly blowing bases to smithereens while no one was there (even though I was actually good at that) but instead doing really stupid things like filling them with pumpkins, inviting people to their own base grief, and ripping out their walls. Maybe this obsession with efficient play over creative play stems from the anonymity of the internet (it is easier to role play over voice chat). But I don't think it's hopeless in any way; I encourage everyone to go online and commit some tomfoolery. Don't be afraid to lose catastrophically from thinking creatively; laugh at your own foolishness and make a story to remember from its results.

You really collected the same thoughts I've been having about structures in Minecraft very well. I've been playing beta 1.7.3 with Better than Adventure and there's no shortcuts like shipwrecks to get iron from. I wonder what it would be like to play modern Minecraft without structure spawns. It would be cool if Mojang introduced ways to get new things like Sniffer eggs and the trial chamber loot without having to traverse structures. Getting these items without structures would be less efficient... but it would be more interesting.

Please remember to not use a lava bucket as a weapon. The lava bucket is the single most powerful weapon against mobs in the game and it is not close. Many ignore it but is genuinely broken when you think about it. It completely shuts down any and all combat encounters except for skeletons and the flying thing. It is like the shield in how it completely nullifies a mechanic, but it is way more overkill. - never breaks - does insane damage - practically stops an entity in its place - 20 zombies following you? dig a 1 block wide tunnel, place lava in the entrance. - AI is helpless against it if you can time it - extremely easy to obtain - why make armor and weapons when lava is the perfect offense AND defense

Just a thought here, but most of these issues could be solved by mojang just nerfing the loot spawns for common structures, like making it so shipwrecks and villages can't spawn ore or so each structure has one main thing that it spawns and everything else is in much lower quantities. Oh also they should make structures themselves less common, I hate wandering around to look for a building spot and running across 3 villages 5 towers and god knows what else on the way just so I can get a little room.

i’ve held this sentiment for a while now. i’ve had to take a look at myself and how and WHY i play the game and why it can be hard to play. it’s a complex problem that isn’t the fault just the devs or the community. there are glaring issues with the games perceived priorities incentives and balancing that’s undeniable. structures are either too weak too strong too common or too rare. shields block 100% of damage sleeping skips the night completely etc etc. there’s an abundance of features like these that push players to rush through the games “progression” and ignore features that don’t fall into that ecosystem. there’s also the fact that we as a community haven’t really learned how to play without invalidating systems and features thatre very old or very new and that sucks to me. WE are actively stunting our own experiences by playing the same way we’ve been playing for 2 5 even 10 years. i’d go as far to say as we’re not even giving the game in its full totality a real chance (at least i wasn’t) we just want to get to the endgame. for me it was the realization i hadn’t used any features after 1.18/19 that really made me take a step back and look at what i was prioritizing and why. i was racing against myself competing against no one which is why i felt like the game was missing something. sure there’s problems mc but that’s not the point. i didn’t have something i was missing it. i realized that i wasn’t playing for MYSELF anymore or for my own enjoyment. after that eveything clicked i remembered minecarts are in the game and that i wanted to create a whole railway system linking my bases underground. that i wanted to learn to terraform and create my own custom biomes with blocks that you don’t usually see. that i hadn’t even seen an axolotol in game AT ALL. that i was severely undermining the power of redstone and that i had left behind so many features. now i make rules for myself like not sleeping the first night. to primarily walk unless i need to run. to not loot a village if i find one and just note down it’s coords. small things like that make me appreciate what the game gives to me as a player so that i can properly interact with them. idk play how you want don’t let ppl change how you want to play as long as you’re happy with it but for me i’ve just barely scratched the surface and i’m not stopping now.

about 6 minutes into the video, theres a generate structures option on/off, I believe that would fix a majority of what you're talking about so far, but also Minecraft is a game for everyone, sometimes little kids dont understand how to mine or go under, and finding a shipwreck is so cool to them. Also, playing since 2011, when I create my world, I love the options with how you can customize your world to be yours... Another thing I do, is make my own rules that I have to follow and set my own goals... For a large portion of the people that have been playing this game for a long time, The reason it becomes boring is because everyone has been there and done that. Same concept every time. A large amount of games come out with a new game every few years to change that... With Minecraft being around since 2011, I think it's done a great job... Just my opinion though, great video man.

I feel another thing Minecraft is missing is mundane structures. Every new structure we get lately is something that's supposed to be super exciting and filled with features, even the ruins they added into the game have special stuff buried in it. I think that stuff like ruined portals, sunken ships, etc, that carry loads of good loot should be rare to find, whereas just, abandoned houses, weird rock formations, fallen trees, etc are more common, but have absolutely no loot to be extracted from them. Basically, replace many of the structures that carry good loot with structures that switch up the landscape still but don't carry loot. The game will still feel alive and varied, without the extremely easy to find treasure troves at every corner. I think that making some areas more natural than others would also help, so if there are structures in an area, it's likely for there to be some other structures nearby, like an abandoned village having a well and a witch hut a few chunks away, tucked deep in a forest surrounded by an area that's devoid of structures. It would make the structures that do exist in the game feel more deliberate and natural, like the villagers that spawn in villages actually have lived there. I think also just a slight thing, naturally spawning trees should spawn with rooted dirt underneath, I think it would be a cool detail, and it would allow you to have stumps near villages that don't appear to be just randomly placed blocks of wood. Not that any of this is a "THIS MUST BE IN THE GAME" kind of thing, but that they're things that I think personally would make the game feel better tbh Edit: Overall I think the vibe I get from this video is something like "Playthrough hygiene", choosing not to do things in the most 100% speedrunner approved efficient and fast way as to have a healthier and more enjoyable time playing the game.

VERY good video, I've been working on this myself - letting one world be fun and wanting to come back to it instead of starting over, and over, and over again. Something I've noticed I struggle with is build perfectionism, especially with a "theme." Like if something is A Theme, EVERYTHING has to be JUST RIGHT or else I can't do it at all. So among other things I've been doing in this current world (That's actually keeping my attention! Wow!) is just letting builds BE. Building things for the hell of it, letting myself be silly, letting a build be multicolored and slightly lumpy, etc. It's so much more fun this way, for me at least.

I completely agree, and did realize many of these problems recently. I try to make datapacks to fix some of these issues. Can't wait on Mojang as they most likely wont change them. Only problem is when structures are required for an item like Shipwrecks and buried treasure is needed to obtain the conduit, so that will take me a bit more time to figure out how to balance.

Commenting for the algorithm! Great video, I think it might be one of the few to actually be useful to the discussion of why Minecraft can feel boring now. A lot of those kinds of videos end up suggesting changes Mojang should make to the game, which just feels like abdicating control of your own experience. I will say one of the biggest things that's helped me stay invested in the game over the last 15 years has been actually learning how to build. Grian's build school series here on yt was a literal game-changer for me since it taught me how to utilize all the game's different block types to create exactly what I want, as opposed to struggling for 2 hours trying to figure out how to make these cubes look even just a little bit like what I envisioned in my head. I'll spend my first 100 days in a world just meticulously building a house until I've achieved whatever kind of Peak Coziness and Functionality I want. And then another 100 making pretty farms around it. The game really does feel a lot more impactful when you slow down and just focus on one tiny step at a time.

Now thinking about it the risk vs reward is a massive key for most of the structures. Most of the time its either to risky for poor rewards or the exact opposite. A rework of the loot tables would be nice but would take a while since there's a lot of them. Along with more structure like the trial chambers and a transportation rework and everything is good

the first thing i do when i load up a survival world is build a house (which is typically a cobblestone castle) . i then build a mineshaft near my house, i then spend SEVERAL HOURS Finding caves and mining their resources. i have been playing the game like this ever since i first played the game on my dads shitty Xbox 360 since i was 6. the only issue with this is that i never go out exploring because I'm too scared that i will lose my stuff that took 20+ hours to get, so i never end up progressing to Netherite because i always stay in one place. why I'm feeling bored of minecraft is the EXACT OPPOSITE of why most players are bored of minecraft.

Aside from actual video game bugs there's only a problem with Minecraft when you yourself, the gamer, have a problem with tempering what you think everyone should be doing when you haven't stopped enough times to ask yourself what you have and/or haven't done. Besides getting permanently banned for requesting stack sizes bigger than 64 there's nothing wrong with the Minecraft community besides hackers and pay to win junkies. Some like to play vanilla Minecraft with a controller. I like to get diamonds, emeralds, redstone, lapis lazuli, and gold nuggets randomly while mining stone with 1 simple Java mod. Only you can solve your Minecraft problems.

I started a Minecraft world a few days ago, and it's been so much better. I didn't look for a village so I had to survive the first night without wool and it was so fun. I didn't bother mining straight away. I no longer care about animal farms and will just kill whatever animals I find. When I do start other farms I will no longer care about efficiency. My first build wasn't anything which would be good by most people's standards but just a giant dirt penis to surprise my girlfriend when she comes on the world. I'm not gonna care about building the nicest looking things and will just live in a hole in the ground for a while until I feel like it. I haven't even gone mining yet but when I do I know it will be fun. Friends I've played with in the past have been so obsessed with making the most efficient strip mines so I've felt pressure to do that, but strip mining is so boring and since the cave update I've found exploring caves and fighting off mobs to be the most fun part of the game so I'm looking forward to thag. I'm also looking forward to when my girlfriend comes off holiday so that I can play with her because I find the fun of playing Minecraft to be playing with other people, but the people I played with before were always on the grind like they were playing Hermitcraft or something. My girlfriend has never played survival mode before so we're just gonna fuck about and have fun.

My biggest complaint is how lacking Minecraft can be. Minecraft for me always felt like its missing something and feels like it needs something. Minecraft has shown multiple times they can make cool monsters and bosses and even weapons. Where it’s been shown the most is the spinoffs games. I believe they should take inspiration from those and add amazing things to the main game with the imagination I know they have. This will make the game a lot more interesting and even improve the game with said new features that could be ontop it. But in a way it doesn’t overwhelm the game with easy to access loot.

This idea of "all the small tasks" is exactly me in some ways. I'm not a fast survival player. I take forever on stuff, and have previously spent most of my time just making farms and such. When I started playing mc, I started in creative. I never really got into survival until later, but even now I'm still only doing a fraction of what most players might do. I will say though that, despite everything, I always have had something else I'm working on in creative. Especially right now.

yeah i agree, ive kinda ignored the meta of minecraft and just tried to play like i was a kid again, doing the most efficient thing has always watered down the minecraft experience entirely. i also think biomes need a rework, too often do i spawn in a world and only see about 5 basic forests, plains, or mountains but none of it has life. making biomes bigger, and increasing the diversity of which biomes spawn would make looking for a nice place to build a lot easier and more fun. i played a survival world and travelled for over 10 in game days, 12 thousand blocks just to find a "cool" spot. all seeds are random but it seems more often than not i spawn in a flat plains biome or a dark oak forest, i miss seeing a jungle next to a desert and getting hyped to build in both locations

I think a perfect solution to villages is to make it so that if any village block is mined, or any chest is even opened, an iron golem would immediately become aggressive and attack you, and if there isnt any iron golem able to reach a player, a new one will spawn in a random location, and the iron golem gets a stomp attack that knocks and damages enemies in a radius, which would make you have to think creatively to steal from a village, or just go mine til your strong enough to steal from villagers. And the iron golem would have a counter to most common methods to kill it, but still a challenging fight, like the warden, but youre punished for being a horrible person to the villagers and not for being too loud, but the village is still a friendly place where you are welcomed to trade, until you do something wrong. Fireworks should ALWAYS blow up, and you get injured every time you use it with the elytra, kinda like the terraria rod of discord. I always thought the give your builds a purpose thing was best executed by Valkyrien skies and other related mods, where you can turn buildings into fully functional airships boats or cars and ride them around at a decent speed, giving all your builds a function when you can take them wherever you want. For the dungeons just giving amazing stuff in general, itd be much better if they gave exclusive specific stuff mostly, which we do have in some cases, but those are usually surrounded in other more general loot in very high quantities. Having structures with loot is fine, great actually, ONLY if theres a heavy challenge to it, so you can take the easy slow way out or go the hard way out, or progress until youre strong enough to take the hard way out, would also make speedruns more interesting if you had to fight an iron golem to the death before you can get your dragon eradicating beds

Honestly, how I've been playing my Minecraft world, is I'm not going around and looting random structures until I already have diamond armour.. it's so much more fun, really. I have over 200 in game days in the world and i may have 11 eyes of ender... but I haven't even looked for a stronghold now. All I have done with structures is write down their coordinates, maybe loot some of the ones that are only for looting- but I already have plenty of stuff, the only one I have thoroughly looted was the ancient city right under my spawn, and I was afraid of it until I got almost full diamonds, and guess what! I'm planning on refurbishing it! I'm making it it's own thing!! The only reason why I'm looting it is because of the regen potions! It's much more fun, really. Of course, I did turn on keep inventory, but that just made my experience better. It's a sandbox game, you experience it how you like; it's your world. Nobody else's. That's what I like, but who am I to say, I'm just some random guy on the internet that doesn't know any one of you, so take my word with a grain of salt :]

Ever since the speedrunning community got popular in Minecraft, especially during the Dream era, i had this feeling the game started to become too meta (in a sense of being efficient above all else) for its own good. I also think this problem is because Minecraft might be getting too easy because Mojang wants it to be super accessible to an younger audience (notice how a lot of people and even KZfaqrs play Minecraft on Hardcore), Notch understood you needed some level frustation in the game for it to be fun, which i'm glad Mojang just now added this new dungeon thing. I'm glad this video wasn't just some "oh the problem is your nostalgia" but rather actually analyzing why the game doesn't hit the same as it used to

@@cringecande_9352 that is true, i play it that way because minecraft literally wants me to play it this way. Why would i go mine emeralds when i can just buy them in stacks from healed zombies for few sticks. And to proof that limitations build up your creativity, about 2 years ago i started playing beta 1.2 of minecraft. and although i started playing this game way after beta phase, (about 1.8) I immediately saw that this version of minecraft is far, FAR better. because of its simplicity it didnt have any goals, so player had to create them himself using creativity. and because of lack of ores, and sprint, this was actually a survival mode. you were encouraged by the game to create railsways, making farms, build bases to protect from monsters. not like now when you dont have to make wheat farm, because you can go to a random village and collect 3 stacks of hay blocks. Beta minecraft doesnt even have end game, when you are impossible to kill by monsters. it didnt have overpowered enchantments, food was always a problem because it wasnt stackable. armor was greatly balanced compared to newer versions. I agree with you that minecraft never was a type of game to grind op stuff instantly, thats why i dont want to play modern minecraft. I know that this comment is long but i hope you will read it, and we'll discuss more, im really curious of other opinions backed by some arguments.

Idk if youll see my comment but what do yoi think about this title instead Together, Minecraft's Biggest Problem can be fixed The main 3 words are the first 3 Imo it would be a better title Although it's not that clear (my version) Idk its just a suggestion + it "might" work idk

Ooh!! I really like that! I might stick with my current one purely for the reason that I get SUPER anxious about titles so I dont want to reopen that wound after I already changed this one a couple times, but I really love that idea!!

@@frogsplat like i wouldnt even mind you changing it. At the end of the day it is your own channel :) You could change it after a couple of days after you see that the video is slowing down in growth

I think something the modern Minecraft community has lost is the ability to do something, just to do it. There's no purpose to doing it, you're not doing it for any specific reason. You just want to do it. I have a creative world where I'm building most of the FNAF locations. Why? Because. And isn't that the point of the game, to do things that you want to do because you want to do them?
