For the inserts at around 6:45 ish please DONT put them on the car seat because they were not crash tested with the car seat.. you can only use what came with the car seat. Nothing that comes in between the car seat and the baby can be use! The appropriate recline level on the base or car seat if installed without the base is what helps the baby maintain proper head placement. Head being chin to chest a concern. Head being check to the side helps baby breath. It’s not necessary to immobilize the head in the car seat. More info can be read at Car seats for the littles on FB ! Please tell lacy not to use that pillow thing in the car seat! Do not use anything in the car seat that didn’t come with it. If it wasn’t crash tested with the seat, it’s not safe and can cause baby to slip out of the seat in an accident or just cause the seat to not function how it’s supposed to in an accident.

Congrats! Please let Lacey know that these are not safe 6:57 ! Nothing should go in the car seat with baby if it goes between baby and the seat belt or baby and the car seat. Nothing goes under the straps. It will void the car seat warranty, and it will hinder the safety of the straps. The only thing that should be in car seat is the baby, and then a blanket on top of the straps after baby is buckled. That goes for jackets as well. If it didn’t come with the car seat, don’t use it.

Such sweet clothes! What I would recommend (and I did this after my shower) is returning some of the newborn/0-3 outfits that I received just because that’s what everyone buys you and you can never possible use them all and switched them out for bigger sizes. You can go on Amazon and find each outfit if you love them and just order them bigger.

My daughter is due in March and is not having a baby shower. Our family is not as close as we used to be. She is a single mother and a lot of our relatives do not agree or support her having a shower. So we her parents and herself are buying all of her baby stuff. You can also never have too many binkys, DIAPERS, wipes, CLOTHES, and bottles! Dr. Browns is my favorite. I LOVE the white noise machine! I had a MC 10 months ago. I even use a white noise sound machine as an adult and it’s a game changer

Lacey and Eli, the head support that you got cannot be added to the carseat. If you are in an accident, the seat hasn't been tested with it and it could compromise the safety of the seat. Check your carseat paperwork.

What a true blessing.. Now stock up on diapers, wipes, Tylenol and desitin. You will go through it like crazy. And use a stain remover pen as you take off the dirty clothes, that way you dont have to worry about stains if it takes a bit to get to the laundry. Best advice I got with my 1st.

With her bows use a coat hanger one that expands to put all her bows on and hang it on the wall. So it.would be easier to look at bows.
