Alfred’s apology to Bruce’s parents is such a heart breaking moment. A few reactors out there seemed to have missed that it was directed toward Thomas and Martha.

I've seen this film a dozen times but I only just realized that when Alfred says, "I failed you", he's talking to Bruce's parents not Bruce himself. He even takes a deliberate step to the right to face their graves. Great reaction! I think I have new favorite reactors.

Batman doesn't usually get to retire and have a happy ending, but that last scene where Bruce gives Alfred the goodbye he always wanted and you see Selina is with him and she's actually wearing Bruce's mom's pearl necklace speaks volumes about how they both left that life behind for good.

That ending with Robin discovering the batcave was beyond perfection...

Small note. Christopher Nolan originally wanted all previous villains to be in here including The Joker. He even had his part all written out even. But.. Obviously with Heath Ledger's death, the script was slightly altered and he was.. Written out, purely out of respect

If you remember at the end of Batman Begins, Rachel told Bruce that his Bruce Wayne persona is his mask and Batman is his true self, so technically Bruce was wearing a mask during the party

The signs man. At the end they all got the signals. Robin with the coordinates, Lucious with the software patch, Gordon with the repaired light, and finally Alfred got to see him in person ofc. Such a masterpiece of an ending.

I was SOOO excited to see you guys had not seen the Dark Knight trilogy and were reacting to it. You guys are fucking hilarious and immersive reactors, and this trilogy is one of my favorite trilogies ever. This movie gets a lot of hate, or maybe I shouldn't say 'a lot' since the overall consensus is it's generally good, but people say that it doesn't compare to the other movies in this Nolan franchise. It's personally my favorite in the trilogy. Bane is fucking awesome. Hilarious and epic one liners from him make him my favorite Batman villain, even more than Ledger's joker (although Ledger's performance is legendary and second to none.) The ending on top of it all is simply an amazing way to draw the trilogy to a close. Emotional and poetic. Legendary. Great reaction you two!

I'm sure you guys noticed while editing, but he did actually end up with Selina aka Catwoman in the end. With her wearing the pearls and them both using the clean slate. My older sister and I saw this together in the theatre. We’ve always been kind of a “don’t cry, don’t let em know you’re hurting” kind of family. I remember when I saw Alfred crying at Bruce’s funeral I just broke, and looked over to my sister. She looks back to me in full tears. At that point, seeing one another bawling, we knew we were in good company, and we just cried our eyes out for like a minute until finding out the truth. Since then, this movie has been a core memory for us, this movie is awesome

I think this movie is highly underrated imo. Mainly because Dark Knight is so awesome. But this is still a great film in its own right. Tom Hardy is still a great Bane and villain even if not as good as Joker. And everyone still great in this. Loved the ending and conclusion too Hoping you watch the Robert Pettinson/Reeves Batman!! It's amazing. Pattinson is probably up there as one of my favorite portrayals now along with Bale and the animated Batman. :)

Definitely one of the best trilogies ever made. Mr. Bale doesn't really look like the classic Bruce Wayne from the comics but he definitely acted the part and that made all the difference.

In the theater when I watched this, I jumped out of my seat and showed "NOOO!" as the nuke went off, in complete disbelief that they just killed my childhood....and then cheered very loudly when it was revealed that he's alive and living it up with Selena...as an avid Batcat fan...YEEESSSS!

Such a great trilogy, and Nolan has so much symbolism and parallel shots dropped in. The view out of Bane's prison as Bruce looks up is reminiscent of the view out of the well he fell into a child beside Wayne Manor - "And why do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up". The last film brings the trilogy full circle as he literally climbs out of the pit of despair just as he was taught to by his father.

John "Robin" Blake became the new Batman at the end because Bruce left him everything to be Gotham's new protector once he started a new life with Selina Kyle; plus Blake had great "Detective" skills like Batman. First Ben affleck batman is different universe / he's has different story... Importantly , he's Year 20 Batman that means it been 20 years he's fighting as Batman and he has gone through alot ... When superman died, he restored his faith in humanity and became the best version himself...
