I have been an in home caregiver for the elderly the last 14 years and know the importance that their yards mean to them. Thank you from my heart for helping them as well! I was the caretaker for my folks then to several other elderly people. My mother was in a wheelchair and she still wanted to help plant her flowers. She couldn't get out very often but she could still see them from the house how pretty they were . The other people had me plant some vegetables. It made them so happy to see things grow.

Aw, you really made the tears flow with this one. I was holding it together as you and Dad Paul with help from Nick got that back area cleared and exposed the driveway. And you cleared the gutters. My gosh, what a lot of stuff was closing in on Sheila and making her feel like a prisoner! And now you've freed her. ❤ Then Joe did such a fantastic job with the windows - such a difference and such a great job! I'd call him in a minute if I were in the UK! I started getting the sniffles when I realized there was an extra person helping to clear the driveway area and then you got water from a viewer and reminded us how wonderful the neighbors were being with keeping you fed and hydrated. When you revealed that they had been trying to help with her laurels over growing the sidewalks and that they do Sheila's shopping for her, I was sort of hiccuping to hold the sobs back - they're the neighbors we all need! ❤ But the dam broke when you told Sheila that you wanted to give her your number in case she ever needs ANYTHING at all. 😭 She's right - you ARE a wonderful chap! ❤❤❤ And the beautiful Arthur brought me back to smiles. He and Theo seem to find joy in everything they do. 🥰

Some of the best gifts you can give the elderly is peace of mind , solace and security ,help with labor and of coarse love and compassion. I completely agree with that , there's nothing more frustrating than seeing stuff that needs doing , but just not being able enough to do it , especially when you have ! managed to do for most your life . Growing old sucks at times, and most older people don't like to ask for help . You your dad and friend have worked wonders on that garden , you should be so proud . If i was sheila, i would be looking at the garden all day now , put some food on the bird table and she can watch the birds feeding , which i'm sure she would enjoy . I'm going to donate again , to Normans gofundme, as you are doing such a splendid job , not only the garden , but the fence, guttering, windows, car , the house will look like a palace soon . ❤❤❤

The car was discovered and the garden was left in its original shape. There were so many emotions, anyway. You really were a hero in this lady's life and so was her father. I'm just curious: will the garage be opened? eyes when the weeds were removed from the roof gutter🥹 this lady was living in sub-human conditions. Thank you Ben, for the excellent work. HOLY SMOKES!! 🤯What a transformation already! You guys had back-breaking work there with your flat edge shovel, scraping away like historic archaeologists! Oh your backs must've been screaming by day's end. Wonderful to have an extra set of hands (and back) for that part of the job. The Windows look brand new, thanks to JP! How awesome are the neighbors helping Sheila out but also blessing you with lunch, water, teas... Such love from the community you are helping. Wow. I thought the last episode was just stunning in its scope, but this one is even more surprising in the amount of work you were able to get done... and the amount there was to do. There must have been a sleeping beauty’s 100 years of brambles there! Didn’t think you could beat the appearance of the red car through the green, but it was just fascinating to see the driveway emerge and emerge and emerge. Many, many bravos all in a row!

Sheila is a lucky lady. She seems to have FANTASTIC neighbors and you always offer to help her if she needs anything. They yard is looking amazing. I doubt that car even works anymore. Looks like your dad was pulling weeds out of it. LOL Great job again.

Superb job! Making garden look nice like it was in past helps Sheila to get back those old good times and gives her strenght and health thru it. I only can imagine how her depression grew along with this owergrowth and made her feel like whole world gets covered and shut down, this makes person feel helpless and lonely. You two have given her back sky and sunshine and hope.

Hi, what a lovely property Shiela will have when the job is complete. I am concerned about the interior or her home. If no one helps her outside, does she need help inside, too. You and your Dad are a joy to watch, and what you two can accomplish in one day - it's amazing. Today you did have additional help - which was great. And to bring in the window washer was so thoughtful. God blesses you guys every day and you pass it on. It's a shame everyone doesn't do it. And we all love the smiles! Thank you.

I am loving this whole story. The funny bits with your dad, the amazing gradual uncovering of the garden. All of it. The difference you are making to this lady's life is so immense. ❤ And to be fair, there's not much better in this life than watching someone else work 😉lol Kress have done good here. Having the best tools is so important. They make it look like child's play.
