Dr Francisco earned his DPhil from Oxford University. He has written and edited a variety of works from the books Martin Luther and Islam and Where Christ is Present to Making the Case for Christianity: Responding to Modern Objections, and is currently Professor of History and Political Thought at Concordia University - Irvine. He lives with his wife Rachel and four children in San Juan Capistrano, California. He loves to lift weights and underwater spearfish in his free time.
Every summer for the last 16 years, youth have been immersed in the waters of their baptism at Higher Things conferences. On February 4, 2017 college students and young adults gathered on the campus of Concordia University - Irvine for an evening spent immersed in the confessing the faith, apologetics, and hearing how to bring the Gospel to people with a number of different worldviews.
