Though I have been seeing him since his early stages of his career in Tamil cinema, it is only in the last few years I got to know this side of him. Awesome. It was this interview - the way he articulates his thoughts in fluent English - that turned me into his fan. And, what really convinced me that Ajith is more than a pretty face but a fine actor was his stellar performance in Varalaru, a performance that should have got him a National Award. And, for his mass following across the world n his versatility, notably, his contribution to Anna University’s drone usage, he deserves a Padmashri and an honorary doctorate from the university.
