Oh my gosh, how could anyone ever choose just one breed, I love every single one. Every breed has its own unique beauty. I also love when we hatch mixed breed chickens from our mixed flock. You never know what you are going to get. I could never have just one breed. :)

My brother lives in Asia and he has sent me pictures of a beautiful yet very unusual one, and it’s called a “dong Tao” chicken. They have the most thick dinosaur looking legs. So grateful to have found your channel. I absolutely enjoy every video and my daughter is very enamored with Mary Carl. She’s actually doing more chores inspired by your daughters incredible work ethic.

Same, great egg layers, and the ones I've had are all really freaking sweet. My friends and I would dress them up in doll clothes as a kid, and paint their toenails. They were just incredibly sweet.

My favorite chicken is Bob I got Bob from a Craigslist add that said free friendly rooster half Araucona half silky. So I get this rooster and call him Bob. Well about a month later Bob stated laying green eggs. Bob is rally cute she has a brown body and a black head.

Cochins are my all time favorite. I love the colorful eggs of marans and Amerucana but nothing beats the personality and beauty of a cochin ❤

My favorite chicken breed is Blue Copper Marans. They are a rare color of the Marans breed that lays the dark chocolate eggs and I think they are beautiful!

Gee, what a difficult decision! In my flock, I’m going to say the polish is my favorite. She is my little buddy. Loves sitting on my lap and gets jealous if anyone else gets up there first.

ISA Browns for sweetness I have two ISA Browns they both ride my bike or used to And Easter Eggers for their eggs And Silkies for the softness of their fur-like feathers

turken is my favorite and here is why story time About April 2019 we decided to get chickens and May (same year) we went to tractor supply and got 12 chicken Speckled sussex, isa brown, black laced gold Wyandotte, leghorn, buff Orpington, Naked neck. fast forward 1 year ,2 the chickens of them had died and me and my Dad where upstairs my mom was down stairs And then my mom came upstairs and said our dog was barking like crazy because one Sussex was 110 yard from their pen in the dogs area and we came outside to see the commotion there were piles of feathers everywhere 2 out of 10 chickens were gone The leghorn was dead and and the Naked neck was injured we eventually found 1 of the 2 that were was missing the other one M.I.A (Missing in action) presumed dead the naked neck couldn’t stand and it was lying on its side we looked at it 3/4 of its feathers were out there was4 2 inch deep wounds from a fox. Ants and maggots all over it we thought it was going to die but my brother and I played doctor (I mean we tried to make it recover) and it eventually recovers and raised high in the pecking order That’s why naked neck (we named it Nokia) earned my forever respect Tl;dr naked neck survived deep wounds from a fox

Our Silkies weren't good layers, but when they were brooding we would put fertilized Road Island Red eggs under our Silkies while they were sleeping. They woke up as proud as could be and were great moms! (of course their babies were quickly bigger than mom, but she kept them in line!) :)

When I started watching your channel, I thought your farm was ran by some, or at least 2 more farm helpers in addition to 3 of you. This is the most beautiful farm/homestead I've seen in KZfaq, mostly because of you 3. You entertain us, viewers, and yourselves/each other, and also educate us. If I were a farm animal, I too would like to end up here. They are very well care for (I saw the other videos how you checked every one of them during the hurricane and snow).

I have 2 necked neck turkens and they're my favorites too. I also have a barred rock pair of bantam that have great personalities. But my favorites on our tiny chicken farm are my pair of red bourbon turkeys.

Naked neck Cleopatra is beautiful & the silkies are very sweet. But im with Mr. Coghill, I live the Named necks. I had two back in the late 70. They were the best layers.

i'm in full agreement with silkies. they're like the ayam cemanis, black to the bone, but with white feathers. such a distinct look. and their goofy fwoofy sheepdog-like heads with their eyes covered. although Mrs. Coghill's choice of that cochin is real pretty too with that color pattern.

My favorite time of day is watching those baby ducks swimming in the crick. Thanks for filming them frolicking in the clear, clean, cool water. Just wondering if that crick water runs cold all summer long or, if it warms up some in summer for ya'll.

I can't say I have a favorite chicken - I love having all different breeds, currently I have Americauna, orpington, Wyandotte, Maran and a couple of barnyard mixes - all the different colors reminds of confetti being thrown at a party!!
