There are a lot of hammer head sharks around the Keys and their favorite thing to eat are Tarpon. They’re also listed as a man eater

The berries that Nav said don’t eat the leaves looked a lot like ones that grow along water ways in southern Florida. I learned about them when I was a Paramedic and one of their nicknames is 7 chews. You know like snakes that are 7 steps after your bitten. These berries juice is absorbed through the mucus membrane in your mouth which is as fast as intravenous. What’s the treatment? Make sure you have good life insurance for your family or don’t touch

I lived in Florida for 28 years and I 4 wheeled from Pensacola to the Keys and all in between I only saw swamp buggies and airboats make it all the through the Everglades

Another issue with the Ram is the inter cooler being below the front bumper. There’s a company in Israel that makes a kit that relocates up high but that’s the only place I know of

It’s to bad that so many people don’t explore other parts of Florida that are rural. I spent my 28 years in Florida mostly in different parts of North Florida and some in the rural parts of central Florida. Whenever the Explore makes i back to Florida instead of taking freeways like I95 or I75 try from Jacksonville take 301 to 441 and definitely go check out the Ocala national forest. In fact check it out online if you want to see the technical 4 wheeling driving you can do. Also there are great places you can do a week or more of never seeing pavement in the areas close to Georgia or Alabama and you’ll be surprised how much different it looks from what many people think all Florida looks like. There’s rolling hills small canyons it’s not flat

Love you Aussies seem like family to a guy from the south would love to take you to the talamenas or mount scott in Oklahoma or if your ever around Ada ok take you to the local meat market they have some legendary ribeyes that I think you guys would be pretty impressed by! Also quite a few cool 4wheeling trails if you know some people!

True story. I took one of those tiny rods on a fishing trip once. A guy was making fun of it being so small, and talking smack about it. I called my son over and said "Go catch something." 5 minutes later he came back with a 19 inch shark. The guy wasn't laughing anymore. 😅

Totally agree even the snakes most venomous in the USA are not as potent as many in Australia, but have much longer fangs and you have a much better chance of getting venom directly into your bloodstream than the short fanged Australian ones and Florida is home to many different kinds of vipers including eastern diamond backs which are the largest rattlesnake species and water moccasins and they defend themselves by chasing after you and attacking you before you can become a threat. I remember I was 4 wheeling in a swamp north of Naples and I had to get out and check something and I was up to my waist in water and I thought my wrangler was floating I suddenly heard a loud gunshot and splash and another guy in my group who was holding a 45 pointed and there was a dead water moccasin 2 feet away from me. All I can say is my shorts were already wet from wading in the water. Aren’t you glad the video was made before I told you this

There were American crocodiles where we were in the keys too! But we were more surprised by how fast the iguanas could swim compared to the goanna we get back home
