You weren't kidding.. that Montana Rubens Clematis was very very old to have such gigantic gnarled stems! We had one that went up 80 feet. Cut it down and it never recovered. Lord it was stunning when it bloomed though! The whole garden did get a lot more light and life when you got it out though. Excellent video as usual! Well done! 💛🖤💛 Stacy

@@marietteestabrook4098 They left the main trunk to come back and pulled out the suckers and smaller volunteers. When it comes back, and it will, it can be kept under control and improve the garden instead of oppress it. Plus they seed a lot, my clematis pops up everywhere including my parking spot at work. Lol

20 years ago me and 3 other guys were tasked on rehabbing a rotten property. It was so neglected, after 4 ten hour days of getting it back to a point where a single person could maintain it, it still looked to us like we hadn't made progress at all. The property owner still had to drop almost 70k in redoing the grounds, worst land I ever saw.

Hi, You 2 are so awesome to watch. You love your work, it shows plus you joke and have fun. That vine had taken over the whole fence. Wont be long before it comes back. Hard cut backs are good for some plants. Winter is nearly finished down here. We already have Egg&Bacon, daffodils out bringing a bit of colour back in the garden. You's have done a great job with that yard. Looks so much better. Stay Safe my friends from the Tassie Fan ❤🙏👍❤🙏👍🐝🐞🐦🦎🐌🐛🌼🏵🤗
