My LOVE/HATE relationship has blossomed into something it should not have the past few year.. The first few times I ever went to violate the state, it went INCREDIBLY. The next few, well.. Not so much. Jor-Dan (‪@GoodLifeOutdoorsman‬) and I set out with the help of Ol' Clinton to see if we could break the curse, and whelp.. You're seeing a video so it already went better than last time. Part dos drops Thursday. PAAA POWWW!!!

South Dakota. The place where everyone goes to fish. Get to a lake and there might 20 vehicles and none from the state.

I appreciate the way Josh doesn't hold much back: like here at 6:43 for example! He's a guy that's always willing to go the extra mile (or even retract a crowning turd) for his audience. What a hero! Thanks for the video Josh!

That sure as shit looks like Horseshoe Lake! I grew up about an hour from there! I remember when that lake first became a fish factory. You could get a limit of walleyes, limit of perch, & a dozen or more of huge smallies in less than an hour! Oh how I miss South Dakota!

You don’t have to have diarrhea to take immodium. Since suffering a dreaded ice dump I now pop one before every long day of ice fishing and I have never needed to worry about crap since. By the end of a stress-free day when I return to safety a big thick log is ready for deposit. Immodium is a key component of my tackle box. Try it, your bowels’ll thank me.

Large chunks of ice from the last ice age that left depressions in the landscape. Some are very shallow and can go completely dryin dry years, others are 20, 30, even as deep as 40 feet. They can be as small as an acre or two or several square miles in size.
