And yet the racist pricks from DAP and PH claim Malaysia is racist when all races and religion is allowed to be practice . The country is peaceful and racial harmony but the DAP fanatics DIVIDE Malaysia with their racial instigations when in reality BN UNITES all races with their community parties working as a united front.

MALAYSIA is not only Malay, Chinese and Indian. There are more, Iban, Dusun, Bidayuh,etc from Sabah and Sarawak. 137 languages are spoken in Malaysia. Even as a Malaysian I feel embarass when some Malaysians youtubers mentioned the country only based on these 3 ethnic group. I am from peninsular and I have not forgoten my Malaysian brothers and sisters in the East from various ethnic groups. Peninsular has also many other ethnic groups like portugese decendents, Semang, Senoi, Mah Meri (in Pulau Carey), etc.

When you said polite is different from generous I just realised how accurate your observation was. I never realised this and when I think about it Malaysia the people and the country have always extended help to others who are in need. It’s like this innate trait among us to always be generous and helpful. Who have a history of helping our neighbours, countries etc. And I think that is why God has always protected this land and it’s people. This is what made us unique.

A very good point (oversee as whole perspective in general) there about your opinion regarding the differences between Malaysia & Indonesia in the terms of multiculturalism & the conservatives thingy. Of course some of Malaysian/Indonesian might be agree and not agree about this but as a Malaysian & Muslim, honestly I was quite shock when I travelled to Indonesia for the first time years ago and learnt about the “openness” of Indonesian especially towards the religious beliefs in their lifestyle (of course not all Indonesian) - although Indonesian has a largest Muslim population in the world.

We used to do the recycling stuff! But it fell out of favor because it was costly. We used to have orange bin, blue bin and green bin. Mostly in schools and malls. If im not mistaken the G floor is because we follow the Bristish way. Actually many Muslim scholars are from Indonesia. Also Indonesia have the most muslim in the world if I recalled correctly. You are correct Steve, kampung people is much more friendly. People from end to end knows each other. Honestly I'd like to think that Malaysian multiculturalism is akin to New York or California but much more widely celebrated. One thing that I hope Malaysia would improve upon is politicians to stop playing with racial issues.
@JetLagWarriors
@JetLagWarriors 3 жыл бұрын
Ah yes people of all races live in harmony but the politicians is another story from what we have heard. We still love Malaysia TBH recycling doesn’t do much. The reason why in malaysia the muslims are strict because it is control by a diff legislation court call syariah. Religious matters are handle by this court specifically. Syariah law is imposed to all muslims. Including drinking, gambling, marriage, seperation, even upon death of the family member the way all the assets were divided is also govern if u are a muslim. If u are a muslim in malaysia u cant go to civil court for matters such as above. Thats why we have alot of strict and conservative muslim still. This is my opinion.

@8:00 About the elevator/lift, it is because partly superstitious and partly mystery, the reason don't have those levels because of the belief that the numbers would bring you bad luck (from Chinese superstition) and there are some stories about people end up in different places, other world, haunted floor and something like that if using real numbers. Don't know if the stories are true or not but it is urban legend.

You are right about the AC. As a Malaysian, I still do not understand why we set the temperature so low. I hate being in trains and buses. Even in many buildings, it is also very cold and way below the ideal temperature of around 22-25C. Maybe it is because the electricity and the petrol cost in Malaysia is too cheap. We tend to waste a lot energy and water in this country.
