My son had an abdominal surgery at 1 week old. We got none of this advice from his doctors. It took us recognizing problems three years later in his hips and legs before we saw a pt- who traces all the problems to the adhesions in his abdomen. 🤦‍♀️ thank God for PTs

It was better after I start doing tacfit and Scott Sonnon ground exercises I think. Lot of things get better after that. Now I have an hell of a life since 4 years and a meniscus tear. It's a bummer. During the original break the perennial never had been pinched by the broken bone back there they said looking at the x-ray that the bones had healed all the way through but I still have lots of pain in these areas very had to deal with 😭

What about the idea of fibrotic adhesions that limit the "slide and glide"? Isn't that technically scar tissue? If that's the case, it would help to know the difference between that kind of scar tissue and a healed wound type of scar tissue, and what specifically is limiting the tissue articulation, if it's not scar tissue or as simple as hydration.

Try incorporating "backwards" walking into a walking program...work up to at least 10 minutes. It strengthens ligaments and tendon areas that normally do not get a good blood flow. I tore ligaments in my right foot when I had a clean ankle break. It took a long time to heal. The numbness is from nerves being cut... Whatever you can do to move your foot will help but the "backwards walking" really helped me the most and is easy to do. I go to a local middle school track and alternate regular walking with backwards walking. After just three days I was able to lay down without pain and get some good sleep again.
