Unicum seasons the palate so that literally anything is better by comparison. I developed a taste for Jagermeister because it was the only thing on hand to wash the taste out when I first tried Unicum, but by contrast it was lovely, and I ended up doing the combo again til the bottle of Unicum was finished.
