One needs about 700 hp to crawl around in about 20 mph, no offense but when you guys title the video with 707 HP at least I want to see something a bit more spectacular. (something that cannot be done in a car with 50 hp)

So, you made a video in a 707hp Hellcat-powered Wrangler, on a trail where the park ranger said you couldn't go over 8mph. Kind of a fail, if you ask me. Should've gone somewhere where you could actually tear ass through a landscape and make that Jeep fly.

I don't know much about engines, but isn't all you need is around 200-250 hp and about 300 lb-ft torque for a wrangler to do well anywhere. this would probably be fun tearing up that first soft hill and then hacienda g to coast down because it gulped all the fuel through those half in lines. Now that surf van they make and the 7-15 models looked like think I would legitimately want to buy.

I feel like everyone is pissed off for no reason. He said it in the video, this car is built as a fun exercise, not as something practical. If you're doing any sort of trail driving like they are in the video, you probably won't be getting up much faster than that anyway, so having a hellcat engine is pretty much irrelevant. I think it's a bad ass machine, and I'm glad they built it

Dana 60s, big wheels, you'd be lucky to get 475hp to the wheels. Interesting he confirmed it's not going to be produced... makes sense because it seems to be a long way away from being a production ready package. Maybe they might if there's enough interest.

lol to the people complaining about wanting a speed test. 1 it's a jeep, built for offroad 2. It has fucking mud tires, they're rated at probably 90 mph, so unless you want them to die..

DODGE if your still looking at this you should name the concept jeep the bobcat instead of the trailcat, since bobcats would keep it in the cat category that your going with all your other cats. I hope this will somehow get to DODGE.

Incredibly curious what 6 speed that are using to handle 650 ft-lbs torque I know Jeeps current 6 speed is only rated for like 350. Been debating on the Hellcat swap but refuse to go to an automatic transmission. It almost sounded like they were grinding a bit though. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
