Happy Sunday beauties! This will be our last upload of the year so we just wanted to wish each of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a happy new year 🎉 . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our journey in 2022. This year was not what we expected but we are so proud to be here in Mexico almost 1 year post cancer diagnosis. Cheers to a beautiful year ahead 💜

Eamon walking the dog is a great mini introvert moment for Bec, always wondered how difficult it would be to live together with someone in a van as an introvert, cause you literally have no space to be alone when on the move, but small moments like walking the dog alone is just a great way to get some space for a few moments 🥰

Wonderful inspiration! Because of you!!! I’m doing my first trip in over 25 years after a year filled with tears! I’m packing up 150 pounds of donations into 50 pound suitcases and taking them to donate to babies, children and teens in need in a whole other country! I wish I had your video skills to document this trip!! Love you and appreciate you more than I can express!!! Wish I could chat with you all about how you inspired me from depression to donations!

In 1979, I had the same experience entering Canada, for the day! I had my bed set up on the back seat and my clothes, etc. under the bed on the floor and in the trunk. He said, "Looks like you are moving to Canada!" I said, "No, I'm on a month vacation! Living in my car". He still took me into, 'that little room!'. I enjoyed my day in Canada! Wish stayed and visited a few days, instead of one day. I would like to have gone to Vancouver Island. Next time I'm up that way.

I think this is my favourite vlog yet. Even though it’s just about you guys heading down to Mexico, seeing Bec healthy and so happy, the hug and cuddle you give Eamon while meditating and then Oso, adorable Oso , with his head out the window just loving his doggie life. This past year has been a really tough journey but I’m just full of happiness for you three. (PS- you’re not missing anything in Canada - it’s 0degrees with cloudy skies and light flurries right now. I would rather be in sunny Mexico)

Today is -7C in Victoria, BC. The Florida of Canada. We are snowed in and more snow coming this afternoon. It took me 4.5 hours to walk and take the bus yesterday ( many roads no bus service due to snow) to a place near here that usually takes less than 40 mins round trip. Enjoy Mexico! You aren't missing anything here!

That battery moment was epic. It really shows how happy and playful you guys are. And I think that's kind of amazing considering everything you have lived through the last couple of years. Facing death (sickness / losing a loved one) tend to sober you up and harden you. So it takes effort to not let it overcome you. Good God, I love you guys! ❤

not that it will make you feel ANY better, but the US Border Patrol does the same thing to US Citizens who are driving into the US from Canada, it's purely the US/Canada road border that's bad and annoying

I went into the US and basically had my car stripped then I came back across into Canada with a compound bow I purchased and they didnt even look

I was going over to Toronto from Detroit. I had to show my hotel reservation. Since 9/11 it has been a hassle.

I’ve crossed over at least 50 times back-and-forth from the US to Mexico and I’m sad to say that I’ve always had more trouble with the US side. I wish the border patrol would learn that you can search and question without being assholes.

I love that van life totally resembles Army life. Us Soldiers/Family/Service Members go months/years/decades without seeing each other, but when we do, it's like not a day has passed. Love love loved this episode! Thank you!

Nice concise road trip vlog. Highlights: two one wheels so all three of you can cruise along; Oso learning how to roll down the window (Luckily I have “kid locks” on the driver side so that when my dog does that, I can manage it!); meditation and journaling along with good food, good friends and exercise; seeing Nicholas in the studio (I loved his tunes from quarantine). Have fun in the sun and see you next year.

I love that you're back to Mexico! I first started watching your channel shortly before the "hello Mexico" series, and watched while you tried to navigate all the mechanical issues with Trin. I love seeing the Mexico content again, it feels super nostalgic. I hope you soak in all of the sunshine and enjoy. Even as an American citizen I have never had a warm welcome into America 😂 I spent the fall in Quebec, made it to Canada with no issues. As I was coming back into the U.S. I had my van torn apart until I eventually said “you realize you uhhh have to let me back in right?” and then they just stopped what they were doing, left my stuff all destroyed/cabinets open and let me through 🙄

@@eamonandbecI know it’s not fun…..and I know it’s a huge pain….and they CERTAINLY could be more polite, but it helps to try and realize we live at some bizarre times, so they do it for ALL our safety and security….. I was at the border one time when they were checking out a little hatchback driven by what appeared to be an old grandma and grandpa type…….I kind of got a bit angry with them since they seemed like sweet old people ……I quickly changed entire opinion about people when the 2 men inspecting their car found a whole arsenal of guns and rifles under suitcases in their back hatch….. THEN….. I was grateful they had us all stopped for inspections…..

@@Noname-cn4ly I definitely understand that and am grateful for the security, but think they should cool it when dealing with people who are not considered a threat. They were not questioning me on whether I had weapons they were questioning me on whether I lived in my car. They would go to my stove and my bed and at my spices and say “what do you use this for?”. It’s just weird, I’ve left the country about 50 times, have ALWAYS been welcomed into other countries very kindly but have NEVER been welcomed back to the U.S. kindly & I wish that would change so that more people from other countries could have a positive first impression of the US.

Bec I am so sorry you've been through breast cancer. I haven't tuned in for a while and thought hmmm something is different. Yes you both look different. Then I realized, Bec's hair looks like mine post treatment. Been there. Twice. Glad you are meditating and avoiding stress. I will spare you advice as you've probably had tons already. But will just say one thing: avoid sugar and dairy products. So important. Now I'll shut up. Sending you a gentle hug. From a fellow survivor. Yay! ❤ May your trip be blissful.

I love the scenery changes across the United States. One day you are in the mountains and forested areas then you are in the plains and then you look up and you are in the dessert or at the beach. You know how you have days when you are so down that you keep falling further into inactivity, overthinking, and sadness? Yeah, I am dealing with that currently, life is just lifing a bit too much right now. The point I was coming to was that I knew for a fact that watching Eamon and Bec's journey is going to be uplifting and genuinely bring a smile to my face and I was putting it off till now coz of how overwhelmed I was. I’m just realizing we were on the road at the same time! I traveled to Florida with my cat to visit family on Thanksgiving. I traveled back to San Diego beginning of December. Stopped in San Antonio and Tucson. Passing by all of the sprinter vans I kept thinking “wouldn’t it be cool to just pass by one of the many creators I follow”. Truly can’t believe how small the world is. Happy for you three ❤

I just want to reach out and say that you guys are awesome! Happy New Year! Ignore the haters if you have any. It's so hard to only listen to only the good stuff and disregard the bad stuff but I hope you are able to do this more and more every day. The same has happened to me going into Canada from Michigan. Hours in a small cell and it certainly turns you off from traveling between the states and Canada when you’re not doing anything wrong.
