It's a miracle to see someone learn something like this SO fast, i died to rush like 6 times when i first started playing doors coz i didn't know when to hide. U could understand and work things out very quickly and i highly admire ur talent👍

I enjoyed this game a lot. Challenging, but not unfair. Predictable, but not consistent. And also, above all, a very simple concept where you must go through similar rooms with different entities attempting to stop you.

The ending I think is just so fitting for the game. When you escape the library, you hear figure growling in anger. But at door 100, he reapears, proving that hes still capable of getting his hands on the player. And then the cutscene is just so unexpected, and I find it so bone chilling when figure swings down, and when you run away, you can see the light shining on the wall that comes from figures mouth. And it gives the feeling that you cant escape him, untill you enter the elevator shaft, and you escape, But only for figure to jump back down and send your elevator crashing down.

Many roblox horror games aren't really replayable. The thing that makes DOORS special is its randomised room system. The fear of the unknown is one of the most terrifying phobias.

The ending was pretty cool, really goes to show that horror themed games have some high quality to it.

Honestly I really enjoy it when ryan plays online games. Just the feeling of having other people around is very much entertainng to me even when they aren't talking because it gives me a sense of accompany.

I personally disagree with the checkpoint system, since the game is auto generated and is trial and error, making a checkpoint system would remove the whole point of the game's premise, in which you learn and adapt to get better for your next run. (Not necessarily on floors though)

A hint of figure. If you get too close to him, he can hear your heartbeat and the more books you get the more faster he gets (just in case if you don’t know how to survive him)

The one thing I like about this game is that there isn't really that much unfair rng. If the lights flicker in a room with no hiding spots, they won't spawn rush or ambush.

So glad to see him revisit this game. Definitely one of the best unique games of the roblox community in a while (imo)

Other than very minor details: Room 0, first seek chase, 49, 50, second seek chase, 99 and 100 are all the exact same every time. You never have to expect something different in those rooms. Note that unless you're in a room with Figure or Seek and you're not in the first room, Screech does not care about you and will appear whenever he likes

Ryan, I have to say, beating that solo AND so quickly is magical. I can’t even manage to get past seek at floor 40, and died to rush twice before I understood. Truly legendary gameplay

im kinda surprised he never encountered the ambush, i was fully expecting to see him die and be confused as hell lol

Now that I have seen the ending and the achievement at the top right I have a theory: the hotel was only the beginning. There's probably going to be an update adding a whole map down where the elevator had crashed named "rock bottom" which will end up having another 100 doors. The map will probably be a mineshaft, and door 200 might be like 6:19 where you had to run from (can't remember his name) in the middle of a possible cave in on the mountain. Depending on if this is true or not depends on if there will ever be a stage 3 and another 100 doors. It would be sick if there was multiple stages ending with every single thing that you had encountered during "the hotel". Which will probably add up to a couple hundred and people who would start fresh at that point would have a lot to go through, though it would be worth it.

Before adding new rooms, the developer said they were going to revamp the hotel. They also said to replay it so it would be cool if you made another video on that when it releases

despite him being so good at games, i don't understand how ryan never understands that when a monster uses its "other senses" to navigate enemies, it just means dont move no matter what if he's on you

Some tips if for the viewer: Ambush: an entity that behaves like Rush however, it has a different screech and it loops back 1-6 times, it is also noticeably quicker. Seek: in order to avoid him, you just have to run, you have a brief window of hesitation, however, he will instantly kill everyone in a room if he leaves it. Screech: he appears in dark rooms, if you hear a “psst!” Look frantically for him to not take damage. Timothy: he has a 0.5% chance to appear in every drawer. If you see him, a black spider, you have a few frames to look away or he deals 5 damage, but he won’t kill you, leaving you on one hp. Figure: he is blind, but very keen to sound and will very quickly go to your location if he hears you. Eyes: an entity with 36 eyes, deals 10 damage a tick. Hide: will throw you out of a hiding spot, time is shorter the longer you progress. Halt: you saw how he did it, you don’t have to turn around though. Yeah, I checked the wiki.

Fun fact: the figure in room 100 is program to always check the lockers in it so that means if you reach room 100 and hide you are always guaranteed to get the minigame no matter what closet

@8-bitryan on room 26 you encountered halt, when it says turn around you can just hold S or W depending on what key you were just holding down, i find it much easier this way, try it out when you encounter him next! GL ryan!

Fact:These rooms/items/and coins randomly generate even the monsters! But which ones are the one not randomly generated? Seek will appear around door 30-40, figure in door 100 and 50,seek will appear again in door 70-80 door 99 will also be the same The rooms in seek's chase scene is randomly generated tho. Tip:if the lights flicker longer(shown in vid) then halt is in the next room another tip for halt is if the lights flicker but theres no cabinets(shown in vid lol) its halt lol

this man has not encounterd all of the enemies so far... Ambush is something i will not describe but i will explain somthing you should be aware of. When the ambush appears (very rarely appears twice) he will be almost like rush but with a slight difference,he will come back for seconds, or thirds, or fourths, and sometimes 5ths, be aware of his call because it is much, much more distorted than rush's call. Hide in the closet as always, but hide (the monster that pushes you out) will still be there, so when said hide decides it has had enough of you, get out while abush is away, you do not have a lot of time though because it is very quick, so try to be stealthy. (hope this helps :) )

Good video! When I completed the elevator power I heard figure break in and started running, I did not know what to do so I just stayed there, until I realised I died. So I watched your video for a difference, and I found it! Sometimes I use videos for tutorials, but yours is the best.

Honestly a lot of people hate Seek but I love it. His chase sequence is so much fun and the soundtrack makes it even better

Ryan if you want a fun little indie game with a lot of similarities to Doors, I’d recommend The Upturned. It’s a very fun yet spooky game that has an interesting plot too. Hopefully you give it a try!

Halt (blue "turn around" guy) does not require you to actually turn around; if you're going forwards when he says it, just start going backwards without turning. If you're going backwards, start going forwards.

Fun fact halt can reduce your backwards movement every door so you can't just walk backwards to avoid him and it shows after door 50 and door 100 avoid thing for figure is harder
