Is Great Yarmouth really one of the worst Seaside Towns in the UK? A study by Which? in 2023 listed Great Yarmouth as one of the worst Seaside Towns with a ‘customer score’ of 55%.
We visit Great Yarmouth which is a Seaside Town located in Norfolk, England. During our visit we take a look at the Merrivale Miniature Village and take a walk along the Great Yarmouth Britannia Pier.

If you are going to quote a survey, saying xxx is worst yyy... I think it might be useful to give the reference to said survey. Or is this just click bait?

@@TowelsTravels Thanks for that. So the worst seaside town other than Bogner Regis, Mablethorpe, Bangor (OK this one is NI), Burnham-on Sea, Clacton-on-Sea and Skegness. The article even points out Clacton-on-Sea and Skegness as the worst.

👍Great Yarmouth gets a thumbs-up from me because everywhere looked clean and tidy and the attractions were reasonably priced and could be enjoyed by all ages. Thanks for sharing your experiences of your visit there and presenting them so enjoyably. Cheers!

I used to live in Norfolk and loved our weekend day trips to Yarmouth. Great chips etc in the Market!

Hi my wife and myself went to Great Yarmouth last October and we were both pleasantly surprised by how nice it was , a very very big sandy beach , i can't understand how anyone could call this town a "worst seaside " town they need to go to specsavers , loved the video 👍

Your video was spot on in every respect. Great Yarmouth is a very good seaside town with many other attractions, like the Pleasure Beach. We have always enjoyed Merrivale miniature village and being dog friendly, our Jackapoo enjoyed it too! I tend to ignore the nonsense peddled by Which?

Great Yarmouth is brilliant fantastic gorgeous and very beautiful place to go on holiday. I really love great Yarmouth. We will be there in September for 2 weeks . And staying at seashore holiday park. I say great Yarmouth is the tops NUMBER 1 place

I went in Feb and not much open . Will go during the season for a look around . But £12 for the model village seems a bit steep 😂

I think you could use it for a week so i suppose if you had kids it might be ok but its a sign of increased running costs unfortunately. We still enjoyed it though 😊

While it's not our cup of tea it's a fine seaside town. Visited a couple of years ago.

There’s some murky roads away from the tourist area with a lot of Drugdealers. Also late at night there’s more of it going on the other side of the Pleasure Beach. I’m not local but ended up working there for a while. Not for me.

Everywhere has bad areas unfortunately but I wouldn't let it put visitors off.
