I rewatched the whole series on Netflix! This is the NUMBER 1 reason why I was the 2nd one in my family to even go to college and graduate! This show inspired many black kids to go to college!

We need "A Different World" reboot...like 5 years ago, but even more so today. The show was so level, and funny. It's one of the best shows on television EVER. Debbie Allen worked hard to tell stories that would heal.

People in high school said I looked like Dwayne (only a little) and I went to college and met a girl whose family called her Whitley because of how she acted. Been married for 17 years. These black shows are really special.

I used to see Kim almost every morning driving down riverside dr. In Sherman oaks. We'd always be at the same stop light. I was a lil kid omw to school. She would see me looking from the backseat and smile at me. I'll never forget.

I just love to see the dynamic of the class and how the interact with each other that i could watch them talk about their experience all day. I would love to have a whole 10 part series focusing on each ones life on who they were before the show, live while filming and the battles of they had with Networks and life afterwards. And also have all of them in the same room again. I just loved the characters and the people behind the characters. Someone should do this cause I would definitely pay to watch it.

I remember reading out in some magazine back in the day. I always wondered if their two characters would get together on the show. But when the writers put her character with Ron, I remember thinking that must be awkward. I wish they would do a reunion show. Ok, wait a minute, ARE they doing a reunion show. As someone who was in my 30s when the show originally aired, they have aged well. They all must be in their 40s or 50s now. They look like the older versions of their younger selves. Thankfully, they are still breathing and appear as one would expect. I am remembering the children of the Cosbys and The couple from the Jefferson. At the time these folks were already older then the roles they played. Amazed at how many folks don't have a clue as to the fact you get fatter, grow gray hair and yes, you get some wrinkles. Since everyone probably found the fountain of youth, can't wait till reality knocks on the door of how you look when you get some age, experiences and common sense underneath your belt. If fortunate, being old will become a blessing. Some folks are dead and don't make it there.

+Dibble & Dabble Definitely! I went there for a hot minute back in the day. did not finish the semester and I was an adult student. Transferred to Fisk U. ended up at T.S.U. and Fisk back in the day was very close to the show. T.S.U. was bigger and in transition and not so much.

beautyfool me either but that may explain why at 1st they had Freddie having a big crush on Dwayne although I'm glad they eventually had him get with Whitley bc that was such an iconic tv couple but Kadeem and Cree do make a cute couple as well
