thanks a lot! It really was! I would have been fine with it being a treasure knife with a good steel but it was genuinely beyond anything we've tried so far! I'm not sure if we dare to use this knife much more but it'll be the crown jewel of our collection for sure.

I couldn't do that. I don't like knives because they look good, I like knives because they are a tool, to cut. To create things with, whether it's feather sticks or a new wallet or some such. You've no doubt looked at that knife a thousand times before right? So which experience gave you pure joy, looking at it or cutting with it? Too many people walk around expecting misery at every turn and you can now experience pure joy anytime you want, and you're going to keep that joy on a shelf? Odin would not approve guys.

why not spend half (or less) the money on a better knife made by a custom maker to your exact specs, which will be made of better materials and perform better? or spend the same money for a handmade piece by an actual Master smith? this here knife is easily the worst value in knifemaking, bar none

I have a couple knives that are custom, one of a kind, hand made (ml knives) (Stoney Path) are a couple of them, that no one else can say they have, that are just as good performers (maybe better) and are under $500. The sheaths on them are impressive also, compared to Fallkniven sheaths, which are not good. Oh, and the price for this knife has gone up. I've checked multiple sites and its sitting around $1800 now. That's ridiculous

@@ravenoutdoors8623 my point exactly. for the price of this generic production knife you can have a heriloom level piece by an internationally renown knifemaker like DesRosiers or the Sobral brothers (just to name two), or 2-3 by lesser known but nearly equally valid makers, fully hand-made with hand forged damascus THAT'S how insanely overpriced this knife is. i feel pity for everyone who bought it if you're into watches, it's like paying custom 1 of 1 FP Journe tourbillon money for a generic "limited edition" Rolex Submariner or if you're into cars... we're talking Singer money for a production 911T
