Pokémon unite is is what I like to call, a vicious cycle game (especially with ranked) You reinstall it after not playing it for a while and steamroll games and wonder “huh, why did I stop playing” Only for the next round you play reminding you why you stopped via the many Volatile aspects of mobas. You uninstall again, one month passes, and you reinstall. That’s been my Pokémon unite experience since it’s released someone save me

The reason that happens is because the game puts you against bots when you've been away for some time. And the bots really can't defend themselves so they tend to just get beat up on really hard. Then after a few games you're up against real people again. For example in this video, you can see 2 bot games.The 2nd match (550-8) was a bot game and the 3rd game was as well. But then in the 4th game they're up against real people and suddenly you see them dying. The 4th game they're back to people and suddenly you see them having to actually try to win, starting to die, and so on.

I can't really confirm because haha no friends, but I think ranked is default 3 players max and that's why it wouldn't let them change from standard to ranked, try opening a ranked lobby first and set it to 5 players before inviting everyone else.

I played a lot of zeraora and get an average killcount of 20 with 42 beeing my record I havent played for months tho cuz the game just doesnt give me anything to play for and afk people are anoying I can carry and win against zacian as a zeraora but i cant always kill 3 people at once xD
