We fit Scrub King Ditch Light Mounts To The N80 Hilux

2 жыл бұрынThis week we fit some Scrub King ditch mount brackets and Stedi spot lights to the N80 Hilux.
These brackets bolt straight on with no mods and are perfect for spot lights if you aren’t running a bullbar.
We decided to go with Stedi spot lights but you can get any brand light you like.
Stedi offer some great wiring solutions and switches to make life easier.

Can you pass a roadworthy with these mounted. Bullbar lights have to be below the bonnet lines these days.

Which bonnet strut did you go for? I tried the Single Strut Co for my N80, but it was fouling on the Scrub King ARB compressor mount (which goes over the ABS unit). Yours looks like it might clear.

Hi, I had a bullseye products ditch mount which was not stiff enough and resulted in a lot of vertical movement of the light while on the road. Are these mounts stiff enough to handle a small to medium sized led light pod ? Thank you

Hey The lights don’t move at all. We used the Stedi light and it’s super bright for its size
