Molly and Alan take MAM-hattan! 🗽

Not me furiously planning my next trip to New York so I can drag my friend through the Harry Potter store for way to long and see a show because now I have serious FOMO! ALso, I think Molly is the only female youtuber I watch who eats her food like a normal human being and not rabbit bites and It makes me feel appreciated, seen, and understood!

Watching Molly’s excitement over finding the Harry Potter American Girl Doll collection just healed my inner child. 💙

New Yorker here! I'm so excited that you guys visited! As for being afraid of New Yorkers, I get it, but I will say that while people here aren't typically friendly, they're pretty alert and will help you if you need it. I've seen New Yorkers rush to help people who've gotten injured/were in trouble several times before. They won't smile at you but if you're in a bind, you can count on the average New Yorker to help :)

This is the cross over I needed!! I am such a Ham Fan, my kids know every word to every song because of how much its been on repeat for years! My cheeks literally hurt from the big smile that was on my face from the time you guys got ready till the end of this video! Like I didn't even realize how much I was smiling till I felt the pain LOL!! TY FOR THIS!

I squealed with delight when I saw todays video is the NYC adventure. I love seeing MAM’s adventures outside the theme parks and living their best lives. NYC is my home, so this just brings me extra comfort to see them enjoy all the fun here too.

I never had an interest in reading Harry Potter till last week, after watching all Molly’s videos about HP I had to start them. Already on book 3 and have been loving them.

When I think of shows set in NY, Friends is always the first that comes to mind. However, for Movies I always think of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Trump meeting Kevin, FAO Schwarz, and the pigeon lady are very memorable. For plays/musicals, I think of RENT instantly. I love how much the mam-fam is branching out! Molly and Alan are an absolute joy to watch together!

What a fun adventure in NYC. This was a nice change. Thank you Molly and Alan the content just keeps getting better and better 💐

I miss it so much. And I’m not gonna lie, excited as I was to know that you guys were seeing your friend in Hamilton, when the clip was shown on the outside of the theater, I let out a little squeaky when I saw the Sweeney, Todd Marquis across the street! Hehe.

I love that this channel lets us dive into other fandoms with you. Flying to NYC for one day of Harry Potter madness is amazing and I love that you spark the excitement in the Mam Fam! With our big Disney World trip having taken place last year, I love that your new channel and content give me ways to continue to engage with you and be excited for other things I love! What a great quick trip! That's something I miss a LOT since we moved to Florida 4 months ago...going to Broadway shows. My husband and I are huge theater geeks so going to the shows were one of our favorite things to do in NYC. I have yet to see Hamilton live but my husband got to see it in Puerto Rico with Lin Manuel Miranda. Molly I'm with you...I have been to NYC a million times and it always gives me anxiety lol. I think it's the pace of everything and there's so much going on at once...sensory overload for me the empath/introvert 😂. But, I would suck it up to see a show or go to a museum 100%. I live in NYC and had no idea about this Harry Potter store. Good times! I think you made all the right decisions re: itinerary.

Tourist- the one main rule about doing well here is stay out of the way. We don’t care if you need to take 20 minutes to stand on the sidewalk and figure out where you’re going, or looking at the subway map forever to determine what line you need but do it to the side, and/or you can ask someone who’s also standing around. But most of us have our commute timed very well and having to weave is no bueno. We’re otherwise nice, just don’t mess with our timing lol. Also glad you appreciate the architecture of Ross Gellers work location. It takes leaving and being somewhere newer with clean lines for buildings like the museum of natural history to stand out. My niece (native Floridian)is getting older and she mentioned the buildings a few times when she visited this summer and it was really cool. For future pizza-ing; try Johns on 44th. It’s in an old church so cool atmosphere- leave with time bc there’s always a line. Also artichoke pizza for delicious atypical ny pizza just get 1 regular slice each- they’re huge. Yessss to loving songs during live performance vs cast recording version. Loved your stage-dooring rapid fire questions.

So knowing Molly’s shark love, I feel like she definitely needs to charter a boat here in SC to find great whites. There’s a company here that is renowned for finding them and there footage was actually featured nationally of a great white feeding on the carcass of a dead whale. As someone who has lived in and near it my whole life, I believe that the keys to NYC are the subway and walking. There is so much to see in the journey between two points. Break the 4th wall of an Uber or tourbus window and get out in it! Yes to Grand Central, but you have to see INSIDE it. Yes to the NY Public Library, but INSIDE it is the Children's Reading Room where the original A.A. Milne Pooh character stuffed animals live. Even if you never leave Manhattan, there is too much to list here; and it is all worth experiencing. But the real secret to NYC is that in a city of millions, you can be as connected OR anonymous as you want. And that happens against the background of one of the most purposefully and joyously diverse cities in the world. Welcome back sometime soon!

We went to New York for one day in December. The Harry Potter store was actually the first place we went to. It was our first time at the store and we loved it! And when I think of a show in New York its I Love Lucy.

Yes! Love watching you guys venture to different states. Would love to see some different amusement parks, like cedar point, six flags. Or Gatlinburg and visit dolly wood. And Fergie seems like an amazing person. That was alot of fun to watch.

My son and I had only 25 minutes to visit it while on a school trip last summer. I FaceTimed my husband asking him what he wanted. Lol! I LOVE that you were able to fit in a trip to my FAVORITE museum on this trip. I'm so glad that you both had such a good time in NYC. I mean, you just can't get quality bagels or pizza in Florida. 😄 We took my daughter and nephew this summer to the museum(and we went to the shark exhibit). Did you know that according to the growth plates on the Titanosaur, it's a juvenile. So, not full grown. Even seeing the 3d printed bones, my mind STILL has issues trying to conceptionalize its size as a living being.
