Sad to say it doesn't look like that anymore, water level had risen about 1m and there's basically no sand along any of the bank, went looking today and was sorely disappointed :(((

Somehow evaded me and Tj for the whole time we've been going to DI! no signage of any lake on the drive in until you get into the picnic area. never caught my eye before 😂

Poona lake is where I got my never ending ear infection 40 years ago I hope you went swimming in the ocean straight after 🙄 every think is a lot different now to what it was year's ago except the main town of rainbow beach all you younger mob would have really enjoyed your self's a lot lot more back before change the rules to where you can and can't go the mad max vehicles we could drive not paying for camping not paying just to drive on the beach money money money and there was more to see back then,, i don't think I'll ever see myself going back on the beach there,,,, maybe to the rainbow beach fishing comp I will go
