I am not sure how else to say this without being too campy… but here it goes. I love you guys. Your channel isn’t just a fab and car channel with moments of silliness… no. Your channel is about family…family and friends that has fun in the shop and takes us along for the experiences. I always look forward to your videos with anticipation as if I were…in real life…hanging out with friends and family every couple days. I am disabled and just can’t experience life the way I had hoped to when I was younger and thought I had all the time in the world. As I get older I find I can do less and less every day and it gets quite depressing. However… I always feel much better when I experience your videos. It truly goes beyond just entertainment. It feels like I have been invited into your family. Taking me into the shop to work on projects is just a bonus. Your channel isn’t an automotive and fabrication channel… Your channel is a family channel…your channel is my family channel. I wish you all a fantastic and happy new year and can’t wait for the ride. Thank you for sharing your family with all of us…I appreciate it more than my words can convey.

What ever you do , you HAVE TO put that bottle opener back in ! That is EPIC! ❤

Nice project! One suggestion. Add a brace on each door opening between upper hinge and latch. Then x brace them. Much easier to keep it strait before removing from the frame. Once off the frame the body will flex without a good floor. Definitely don't want to weld in a floor with the body slightly twisted. Will be looking forward to fallowing this project. :)

We had a 1970 J4000 with 350CiD, and 3 speed in the floor. In 3rd gear you could push straight down on the shifter and swing it against the dash. My father bought the truck new and said they did that to give middle passenger leg room.

Over the years some rude things have been said by so called fans about Michelle's laugh or whiney voice. I don't know what they are talking about, duh. let me say if it hasn't been said before Michelle has a beautiful singing voice. she does a lot to make each podcast better the way she enacts with Paul and the rest of the crew is priceless. I’m so happy for Michelle that her Jeepster is finally getting fixed up. Paul and the crew will make this a sweet and safe ride for Michelle. How cool! In 1971, I was at a jeep dealership drooling over 1 of these, trying to work a deal for one. I was 20, no credit, and raising a 1year old. Couldn't work a deal, but I've always loved those jeepsteers. I still have the dealership brochure, somewhere.......

Great video, sold my 1 owner 1967 commando about 3 months ago, still running but full of rust in the bed and floor pans almost non existent after sitting for 25 years. Dad ordered it from the factory when that was still a thing, 3 speed automatic, automatic hub locks, A/C, power steering, but couldn't keep brakes working well for the entire time we had it and multiple brake system replacements. When I was young I told dad to keep it for me, and he did so I drove it through my high school years and off and on afterwards. Sure had some awesome memories in what my friends called the "Moose mobile".

Paul, when lifting sheet steel with big magnets if you have room, put another sheet or bar steel on the bottom side of the sheet that you were lifting. An old timer taught me that years ago…

I have watched your channel from the very 1st video. I love all the projects you have made. BUT......THIS IS THE ONE I'm most excited about. I know it will turn out absolutely amazing, but watching it from start to finish will be extremely entertaining.

YES YES YES Paul. That's the right way. After 50 years of body off, I'm now rebuilding with Stainless steel. The parts are there forever.

What the heck, Paul!!! When I need to disassemble something new to me, I hit the Internet. I found two windshield frames on eBay with the posts. Seeing the whole assembly makes it obvious how it was assembled and how to get it apart. It makes sense that it needs a longer base to resist the wind when the top is off. The original Willy's Jeep has a long and angled support.

In 2008, Christmas took on a whole new meaning for me & my wife. Our 1st Grandchild was born & she was about 7 months old @ Christmas time. I already had a trimmed beard, so I let it grow as much as it could in those 7 months & I played Santa Claus for her very first Christmas. We now have 5 Grandchildren & the first 4, I was Santa for all of them. Our youngest Grandchild hasn’t seen me in a Santa Suit, I’m too big for my suit these days. Christmas is all about them now. Our 1st is now 15 y/o & the youngest is 4. Can’t beat that.

You got a jeepster buddy 30min away! Definitely a 4-inch lift with 35s and a fair offset to give it that stance an balance stability. That tops patina matches the jeepster soo good too, but can't wait to see the sand blast an finish, don't know what way it's going yet but im excited to see it done, than start on my Flintstones 88 JL maybe by the time this is done 😅 Hope all you guys had a merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! I remember we had to cut and weld a big patch on the drivers side floor around 1975, when our Jeepster was only 5 years old. It had rusted through just from normal Indiana winters and wet shoes.

You have too stay with that stock colors orange ish hew! It's a great color,it's fitting.gonna be a great build.not too high up,gotta get in there.

I recently became a fan of Fab Rats and love the videos. I never knew yall were on highway 89. I used to pass through there everyday back in 2021 hauling scrap metal from Page, AZ to Plymouth, UT.

Paul, you asked about how long will take to put together the Jeepster. Keep in mind that vehicle was put together on the assembly line. Sooo There has to be an easy way to do it . Just a thought for encouragement. Nice family project with potential for serious enjoyment!!!!!

Paul, you should check the windows in the doors. If the jeepster originally had a soft top they come to a point rather than the radius that fits the hard top. I had to change out mine.

2 things I would like to see. 1 if you plan on painting it please keep the top white. 2 put the bottle opener back on the dash.
