Just if your jaw muscles (under your ears and at your jaw angle) are stiff/hard/ect... -> that‘s muscle tension and can hurt if you poke it

I’ve been on medication for stress and anxiety for about 3 years and if I don’t take it my stomach will hurt so much and I can’t keep food down and I’ll get headaches and it’s really not fun and sometimes people are like oh yea I’m really stressed out like more than you just cause they think it’s quirky

Jen you definitely should get the guard. My cartilage in my jaws is pretty much gone and was gone by the time I was 20 due to biting and clenching and grinding. When it starts to disappear your jaw can lock itself in painful positions, sometimes half dislocating! Get the guard, be safe!

Michaell P i had a similar issue last semester, which was really stressful for me. i'd clench my jaw rather hard at night while i was sleeping, and wake up with a sore jaw and bites on the insides of my cheeks. i found that wearing a generic toothguard from the drugstore while sleeping helped a lot! good luck in grad school :D

I used to clench and grind a lot through school, so much so that it made my teeth hurt and gave me head aches. I started chewing gum and that worked amazing! You can’t clench if your mouth is busy

That man sacrifices scientific integrity for profit and that is not right. He sounds very impressive with his technical jargon and expensive tools, but he knowingly deceived the audience as to the function and utility of his tests, and questions as well as some of the certainty, and non-certainty of the results, the symptoms, and the conclusions. He peppered in truths and real expertise into his act to sell a lie for the sake of his business. I sincerely hope that whoever reads this comments and actually believed most of what is in this video, tries to look up the actual science behind it, because the video does not comment about the validity of the content, just simply exposes you to its existence. The mere fact that jaw clenching is often a symptom of stress does not make all of this okay.
