My personal #1 dream destination here is actually Batanes which topped thetravel website's 10 Most Beautiful Asia Destinations. No beaches to swim in but the views are just breathtaking. Very similar to New Zealand or Scotland. I think it's on Paddy's list for his return visit here.

Wow Dinagat Islands…just gorgeous 💚 The sea with different shades of blue 💙🩵 ridiculously stunning! You’re the only foreigner I’ve seen who eats so much rice 💙 Nice to see you get to experienced the Filipino hospitality 🙏 Your 1st time eating the famous lechon! Good thing both of you are not picky eaters 😂 Snacks/desserts that you had are biko (sticky sweet rice), kutsinta (tapioca flour), buko pandan salad (young coconut, jelly, pandan etc).

Stunning. That climb looked really sketchy, but the views at the top are to die for. Looks a bit like Coron in Palawan. You know i've heard many foreign vloggers say that the waters here are bluer or more turquoisy than in other Asian countries. I think it's because of the abundance of limestone as that is what gives the waters that color. Even some of our inland bodies of water are blue as well (like in Kawasan, Cebu for example.) The food looked really sumptuous. The sweet white gooey one is Buko Salad. Wasn't able to thank you for showing in your vlogs that food here is good too. Though i know they're not your favorite, but atleast you dispelled a lot of myths that Filipino food is bad. :)

That's very nice of that family to invite you in. I still don't get how you said Filipinos are not as friendly as other Asian countries. I can understand you might not show everything on video and I appreciate you being honest. I am in Australia but I wouldn't say Australians are friendlier than Brits. I have been to Bali, Japan and Bangkok. The people are friendly enough but I wouldn't be able to say Thai are friendlier than Balinese. I feel you have experienced something very bad in the Philippines and would be interested to know what it is. Sure taxi scammers are abound and some Filipinos don't look after the environment or animal but to paint everyone the same brush may cloud your judgement about Filipinos. You may have come across rude Filipinos but I do hope it won't leave a bad taste in your mouth that if you now meet a Filipino, you would think they are not as friendly. And yes, I agree with you. I hate it when you're in a serene environment, then they play bloody loud music or any music!
@EllisWR
@EllisWR 11 ай бұрын
Hey mate I'll always be honest and yeah your right I don't film very negative stuff because it drains me. If you watch my videos you'll see thai people are amazing with us (bear in mind we don't visit tourist places) We had no individual bad experience. The country is bloody gorgeous but your right people don't look after it at all. For us it was more people might say hello and Shout at the camera be nice etc but it was mostly always face level and not sincere like other countries. Everybody always talked about money and treated us so differently. Without the camera we were again not treated too nicely I don't know if it's some strange jealousy or what but we were not welcomed like other SE Asian countries. I have filmed some lovely people here though also I'm not saying everything is negative we have just not felt as happy here as other countries and that's alright aha. Everybody likes different stuff though that's the beauty of travel.
