May the dog rest in peace, it was truly disturbing to look at and smell. Apart from that the yard turned out amazing and looked completely different. The grass really put up a fight and didnt wanna go down with the mower but at the end of the day we made it go down!

It's truly breaks my heart that you found a poor dog inside a cooler. What an evil person it must have been to do something so terrible. Rest in peace, precious fur, baby. You men are angels on earth! You not only made the sidewalk safe for walking, but you improved water drainage by cleaning out the drainage ditch and sewer. I'm sure the neighbors could smell the carcass from that poor rotting dog, and you made sure that the dog will rest in peace. I wish we had more people like the two of you in this world. I wonder if the neighbors will maybe maintain the corner just a bit so it doesn't get so overgrown.

That may have been the case, but to toss the dog's remains in an overgrown property where people living near by or walking would smell the stitch is inhuman. If it were a coffin, maybe burying it would have been more fitting.

You guys did a beautiful job. People fail to realize that when grass isn't cut on vacant lots, everything gets thrown there. The city is lacking in the responsibility of keeping up with their right away and drainage. Thank you for doing their work❤❤

They do that because mowing brings the bugs out and they are scrambling to find cover again. It happens in all the warm weather places. The southern US and Hawaii. I have fun watching the egrets watching the mowers so they don’t get run over while trying to get as many bugs as possible.

Unfortunately, an overgrown lot is used for all kinds of nefarious purposes. Thank you for cleaning it up, mowing it down, clearing the sidewalk and opening the sewer for the neighborhood. A (formerly) living pet is not trash for someone else to take care of, especially in this heat. ❤️

So sad about the dog. To dispose of the remains like that, just sick. There is the humane society. Do hope dog had passed before being put in and dumped like that. Thank you for handling that awful task. Sad you two had to come upon it. You two did an awesome job on that corner lot. The neighborhood has to be relieved. Getting the sewer drain and sidewalk operational again, makes it better for those who live there. 👍👍

You need to be careful when applying anything cold on your face especially your eyes. It can harm your vision. Just use a dry paper towel to wipe off the sweat.

Breaks my heart about that poor little dog. Thank you for clearing up the lot. It sure does look nice. Be safe in that heat. Have you ever tried those cooling towels? The kind you soak in water and they stay cool for hours? I use one when I mow my yard and it sure does help to keep my head and face cooler. Y'all are the best!!

I enjoy watching the birds come for the insects you scare up when you mow tall grass. At first one shows up and then another until a bunch are there trying to stay out of the way but too tempted by the insects to stay away. Its as if the first one arriving sends out a telegram telling the other birds dinner is served. Good job today. Its over a 100 here in Louisiana Toledo Bend area also. Be careful not to get overheated.

1. Maybe look into a steel brush attachment for the trimmer tool. 2. Drink Pedialyte when you are in extreme heat like that, in addition to the water. The Pedialyte will help replenish your electrolytes, especially for your dad. 3. Maybe consider wet wicking scarves for around your neck. Be safe fellas. Great job. I'm truly sorry about your find in the cooler. 😢
