We Found The 3 Best Redwood Groves In Avenue Of The Giants!

Күн бұрынIn this video we travel to Redwoods National Park in Northern California to The Avenue of the Giants, which is found in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. We'll discuss the self-guided auto tour followed by a stop at the Visitors Center. Next, we'll show you 3 of the best groves in the park. First is Gould Grove which is directly across from the Visitors Center. Next is Founders Grove, home of the Founders Tree and The Dyerville Giant. Finally, we'll travel down beautiful Mattole Road to Big Tree Day Use Area. Come along on our journey through the giant redwoods!

I am glad some people had the foresight to save the rest of these old growth trees over 100 years ago. otherwise we would just be left with legends and old photos of how big they were. we couldn't save the passenger pigeon at least we saved these old growth trees

I was in the navy Stationed in Ferndale Centerville beach in the 80's was a small naval facility closed now, but used to love driving around all those big trees. it just seemed so peaceful to when you walked among them
