Our name "The Tyko Fam" was inspired by our kids' names, Ty & Kona. As a FAMily, we enjoy spending quality time together, capturing memories as we explore new places. Daddy was born in Iloilo, Philippines, and moved to the US at the age of 11. Mommy (Japanese-Filipina decent), Ty, and Kona were all born and raised in the US until one day, Daddy introduced us to his homeland. After several visits, in 2016 we made the bold move to sell our house in California and start a new life in the Philippines! Sarge joined us in 2021. After a long YT break, we rebooted our small channel in 2022.

I also stayed there in ASTORIA palawan. We were a member so i got 2 PREMIER VILLAS 😮 the 2 VILLAS were sooooooo big and they are connecting !. I was supposed to get a smaller VILLA but i was a member so i got the PREMIER VILLA. I stayed in ASTORIA FOR 5 WHOLE DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSS 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You and the fam would love it cus. It's all inclusive, which is good, though it is the only resort at the moment within the area, which is bad. Another resort is on the works next to it, though.

Yeah! It's got everything! And halfway to Port Barton! And a little more 🤏 closer to El Nido than staying in Puerto Princesa City.

Hi Ana! Thanks for tuning in. Honestly, not sure if they have villas with a full cooking kitchen. Possibly, but it's probably better to contact them directly. They do have a small on-site convenience store where you can buy instant noodles and snacks, etc.

I believe so. We were there during the off-peak season back in September of last year, and it was open. You can always check them out on their website or on Facebook. It is perfect for families with kids!

Looks like such a chill place! Service in the Philippines just hits different. Thank you for sharing another beautiful adventure with us! 💜 It looks like you guys had a lot of fun, except for when Jerry got injured by the caterpillar. 🐛😂

The resort is beautiful and the staff made us feel welcome. Haha, it is all part of the experience. As long as the kids gets a laugh and it's a minor injury, it's well worth it 😅.

How can you get to the underground river from the resort? Do they have a concierge to help plan the trip?

Not sure if all the amenities are free. It's probably best to contact them directly. But if you stay at the resort, the entrance to the Waterpark is free. As for the breakfast buffet, it's an additional fee for around p825 or so, if it's not already included in your room rate. And kids are discounted. But it's better to contact them directly for the updated rates and fees.

Are your kids gaining fluency in Tagalog?

They know some vocabulary. But it's hard because their first language is English and everyone speaks English to us 🙈. And Jerry's more fluent in Ilonggo which I can't understand. We're all trying. Just being around it helps though.

It's a work in progress. We told our driver to speak to them in Tagalog. Didn't work, his English improved, and the kids' Tagalog same same. 😂
