Жыл бұрынThis was an awesome dive at apartment complexes! We found so many great items in the dumpsters - the jewelry is beautiful and I also love the temporary tattoos and green/gold tapestry. It's just stunning! --

Hi ! You asked one time what would be good for cleaning things. Well I'll tell you... besides SHOUT Laundry Spray here is another that cleans alot and doesn't leave any mark after it dries ! How can I send a picture of it ?! It's called FOLEX. It's definitely NOT just for carpets. I just used it to cleanup a pair of sneakers, a spot on my rug and couch. I bought it at Home Depot, it's not expensive, 36 fluid ounces. Large to last a long time ! I forgot to mention I use an old tooth brush, let it set on it for a bit, then scrub with it. Sometimes it takes a couple times but it really does help !

Please throw out used cosmetics. Herpes, impetigo... etc y😮ou don't want to spread those kind of viral disease to unsuspecting or uneducated rummage shoppers. People CAN go blind from that. Especially with maggots in the dumpsters this time of year.

As a fellow diver I have discovered that it is illegal at least in some states to dump electronics. Best Buy will recycle many items free. Thought you guys might not know. Thanks for helping save the planet!

It's not illegal to dump electronics anywhere .. however in some areas there are specific dump sites relegated to where the electronics need to be disposed of

Perhaps the word illegal was not completely accurate- if seen in Boulder CO it is a $1000 fine. I consider that illegal.

They make my day, too, and I just turned 60 . we need to find us some diving buddies and get out there !! I m just not sure what GA law is on dumpster divining. The only reason I haven't!

The closet organizer can be turned into a cat beds. Jut by placing thin boards in each pocket and a chair cushions in each as well hang it low enough for the cat's can climb on. On the back make two small holes to put the chair cushion string through and tie them into place. Bones would love his own cat condo.😮😊❤

I love watching you two dumpster dive together ! I WANT that kitty mat ! Soooooo adorable ! I'm a 63, I've been trying to go to bins in my area and they are all up so high that even with my grabber it still makes a difficult. I don't drive so I walk within 2 miles and whatever I find has to be somewhat on the smaller size not too heavy. I had to go back 3 days in a row to get dishes that I saw in one container. Most of them weren't broken and some a bit slippery because of some llotion on them. I also found a beautiful glass chime set that sounds so pretty. It's definitely difficult to not have a car, but I try.

Check the backs or clasps on jewelry. Some costume jewelry can be $$$. It was a great find. All the shoes, crockpot was nice, just a overall good dive. Kelly you seem so happy, the both of you working together is a real plus. Enjoy your videos.

Usually if silver jewelry tarnishes it's usually real silver check it to see if it's 925 it's real good luck diving, so nice to see the 2 of you so happy and cheerful diving together ❤

a little tip for the makeup: you might wanna toss the lipgloss because the wands can contaminate the whole tube with germs but you can easily sanitize powder products by spraying them with rubbing alcohol and letting them air dry. much love from canada

His name is Stretch Armstrong!! He was a 70's toy! My nephews had one and they played with that thing all the time! :) I've always heard the beanie babies called T-Y , never heard anyone around here call them TY (tie) . Such fun hall with the jewelry and stuffs!!

The superman is a stress thing I believe. You hold them, they can be balls etc., like that material and can squich them for stress relief. Great haul. hugs

All I found today dumpster diving was bubble wrap and foam wrap. I get it for a neighbor, and I use it for packing up garage sale items for my Fall sale. I clean my found items, price them, and then pack them in boxes (found in Barnes & Noble). Curbside hunting today; a nice wood, gold frame, a wicker, organizer basket, and some wood I give to my next door neighbor. I give them stuff, and they give me chicken eggs from their four hens:)

That’s what I was thinking. I’m a 60’s kid and in the 70’s my mom had a round green with yellow fringe similar to that one. Still very cool!

When you find single shoes don't leave them if they're in good condition. You can donate them to a VA hospital for service people who have lost a limb to use Steve & Steph in Cali do it. Something to think about.

Wow on the jewelry finds!!!!! Try to think of maggots simply as baby flies. They actually clean off debris, but yes, they are gross. The cat mat was purrrfect for you!

You found some wonderful items. I collect costume jewelry. Some of the earrings are vintage, plus the turquoise necklace and the silver one with the numerous stands of beads. There also is the one with the silver metal pieces larger ones black cloth, and the other gold one on the pink cloth in the left corner, check the blue one beside it that could be a stone.

Happy Sunday ! Great haul. 👍 I like the costume jewelry. About the clip-on ear rings, just guessing they could be vintage. Even with pierced ears, people, who like vintage, will wear those. Check to see if there is a brand name on the back of them, which might bring you a few dollars more. Love the cat rug. I would think you might keep it yourself. ☺

You can remove permanent marker from a whiteboard by writing over it with a dry erase marker

I’ve also removed permanent marker from a whiteboard with hand sanitizer. I think it’s the alcohol that’s the relevant ingredient.

That is Stretch Armstrong. You should check comps for him. Hard to find without holes in them. Very popular in the late 70's.
