Heres some fun facts for Dylan. 1) Foul Play is affected by your mon being burned. It simply gives you the opponents attack stat and replaces your own. But then it's damage done is halfed by burn 2) Body Press is also affected by burn. This is a common misconception about how burn works. Burn does NOT reduce your attack. What it does is reduce damage from physical moves. While Body Press uses defense instead of attack stat it is STILL affected by burn, because it is still a physical move. 3) The sleep status from rest is not the same as regular sleep. It will ALWAYS sleep for 2 turns. It is not random like regular sleep status. So dylan hoping that it would not wake up was pointless since it ALWAYS wakes up that turn.

Honestly I would have given Blind Bandit max HP cause with those defenses it could have been a Dussy level threat

Fluffy doesn't increase your defense, it just reduces the damage you take from CONTACT moves (Emphasis on contact and not Physical Moves) So Fluffy wouldn't affect Body Press

Burn affects body press damage too even tho it uses your defense stat! So that on top of max def and fluffy on golisowool (dubpod?) means the body press from abomaperior(rhysnow?) did absolutely nothing even tho it’s also max def

This mightve been the most well planned battle Ive seen. Like Luke just had such an incredible strategy goin for him. And Dylan did some incredible defensive plays that helped em prolong it

Burn effects both Foul Play and Body Press damage. Status and abilities effect both those moves 'normally'. This means Huge Power Body Press deals double damage when compared to non-HP, burn, Muscle Band etc. The stat and stat stages matter but otherwise it is coded as a physical damage move.

49:06 Burn does affect the damage of Body Press. The way burn works, as of Gen 3 anyway, is that it halves the _damage dealt_ by physical moves. So even if a physical move uses something other than your own Attack stat for calculating the damage (like Body Press using your own Defense, or Foul Play using your opponent's Attack), the damage you do will still be halved.

Luxquaza needs to be changed to Rayray.

Apparently, the reason Foul Play did so little on the RayRay is that it uses the user's status and ability rather than the target's, so Goggles being burned halved the attack's power despite RayRay's Guts. Also... did Dylan forget that Rest is always the same sleep duration?

41:43 foul play uses the opponent's atk stat, which is halved by burn. Your foul play user doesn't have guts, so it's using half of the burned target's atk stat. ❤

I think you should do a blind fusion with shadypenguin. And I don't mean blind fusion like you guys have been doing. Randomized starters in sword and shield, blindly choose 2 of them, and fuse them as best as you can. The possibilities could be awful or incredible. All left to chance.

The reason that body press and foul play were affected by burn is because at some point burn was changed to not change the attack stat, but to actually half the base power of moves for the user. That means that body press is effectively a 40 bp move using the defense stat, and foul play is halved using the opponents attack ❤

I'm genuinely curious what would've happened if one of those fainted mons was sent back in.

Body press is still halved by burn, so is psyshock. Burn halves your physical damage output, not just your attack, so do keep that in mind ❤

You should do a Fusion video but both the pokemon's stats are added on top of each other.

Burn does affect the power of physical moves, so being burnt halves the power of body press and foul play - which is why those did so little at different points.

King’n knight, it is an old style 2d co-op platformer. Me and my friends found it fairly difficult. It is definitely not as challenging as this title though. And if you want a game with a similar feel to this one, but is single player, Void Rains Upon Her Heart is fantastic.
