Lol, when the missus and I bought a caravan on our first trip, we forgot how to pull the awning out as well. So, we waited until almost everyone at the caravan park checked out the next morning. We started to pull it out again but decided to go back in the van and youtube it. The thing is, it was connected to Bluetooth and came through on the outdoor caravan speaker flat out. Lol, we pissed ourselves laughing Jezza.

Hey mate. Down the line, you can look into getting something called Curved Roof Rafters and Anti Flap Kits. These act as a support in middle of the awning that hook onto a clip right up the top next to the awning ( On the sail track where the awning slides in), And they extened out and attach to the awning tube. So basically extra arms for the centre but they push against the awning to stay out of you way and to make the awning cloth sturdier. The Anti flap kits also have grooves in the side of them for Annex walls (Basically an extra room outside of your van). Very easy to setup. I work on caravans in warragul and do them almost daily. They are very very handy to have if you plan on using the caravan a lot. Cheers. Love the van.
