I killed a 47" MI longbird this morning thanks to THP. I haven't felt like going the last couple of years, cause old and fat. Youall gave me the inspiration to get to walkin', buy a tag and go. It's still a rush at 72.

So thankful for these guys cranking out the videos, especially right now. I look forward to these A LOT and I’m getting fired up for opening day in NH on Friday. I’ve never been Turkey hunting before but the woods behind my house is loaded with them and I have the green light to hunt the property. I had no idea what I was doing like 2 weeks ago and was feeling down and wanted to give up on hunting turkey for the first tine, but a hunter buddy I work with sent me one of these videos. Ive watched most of them now and am pretty confident I’m going to be successful this first year with all this new knowledge you just can’t google. And hey if things don’t go well the first couple days, gotta stay positive right Zach?!

Southern Lower or Northern Lower. I don't think it was the UP as we still have lots of snow. But this rain should help in getting rid of most. Can't wait to get in the woods.

Tough luck Ben. But, way to be a sportsman about it and accept that fact that it was a clean miss. You really gained respect in my eyes for the way you handled it! Anyone who has turkey hunted for very long has had the same thing happen, you just had a great way of dealing with it. My hats off to you! Great hunt and great job setting up on the bird. I stumbled on your channel this turkey season and I'm hooked! Love you guys. I hunt the ozark mountains in Arkansas. Turkeys didn't gobble much this year so I'm trying to understand how to ID good spots to scout from topos. Any advice? ANy good books/articles/ resources you can point me to? This could also be an idea for an entire video from yall (maybe this off season when you need content). Walk through a topo and describe what you're looking for when you hunt/scout a new place. Oh and I love the green leaf camo hoodies! Getting one for sure!

Slap a set of TruGlo Magnum Gobble Dot Xtreme sights on your guns! Those turkey chokes throw very tight patterns inside 30 yards, and the fiber optics are easier to see in low light and brush than a bead! I have a set on both of my turkey guns. At $15-20 they are cheap and very effective! Also keeps you honest with keeping your head down on the stock. Line up the fiber optics on his waddles and let 'er eat! Still a great hunt! I didn't realize how much brush was in front of him until you shot. If that bird flew 300+ yards and you didn't find him, he wasn't mortally wounded from the shot. Keep after it guys! Love the vids!

After looking back at the footage, I wonder if he didn't quite have his cheek down on the stock, if not, it will cause you to shoot a little high. I'ver done it myself before. Love watching THP.

Another action packed episode fellas. It seems like a done deal but it never is until it flopping around on the ground. It sucks no matter how hard you try to justify a miss but it happens and walking us (you) back thru why you missed is what earns you respect in my book. I used my granddad's ole single shot h&r one year that has a 30in barrel and one would think that would kill a bird out to 40 yards and well let me tell you it won't. Laughing...... Since then the 870 with a vortex scope seems to be the remedy for me. Zach looks a bit like Tom Selleck after the hair club for men treatment but hats off to all of the THP crew you guys rock and I can already see Myndi and Greg's expressions on their faces as their editing this video, now that's funny stuff right there. As always be safe and stay healthy my friend.

Ya I like these guys and all their content. HOWEVER, they shoot entirely to soon. I understand if its last opprotunity and you have to make the shot "now or never". But half the time the birds are still closing the distance. I like them up close and personal, the closer the better and makes for longer and better footage.

Shot looked left to me. I grew up hunting turkeys in VA, started in the mid 1970s. I would be there now but I'm stuck here in Idaho due to the virus and governor's orders to stay put, dang it!
