@@ShadowtheKZfaqr523it's not about being weak, my point is that the show is shit, it's just not good, the only redeeming quality is that the intro is good, ive seen way worse stuff like the McNutt video or the funky town gore video, didn't bother me, but the show is just so bad that the only way a normal person can enjoy it is if they are high or dunk, it's not like its disturbing to see, so you saying that you "easily watched it" tells me 2 things, that you just don't understand basic jokes, and that you just have a bad taste in shows.

I actually love this show I know it’s weird asf but it helps remind me that everyone goes through similar experiences and confusion in their lives and makes me feel less weird about myself. There have been episodes that have brought me to tears, the grief sweater episode is one that comes to mind. They can tackle really tough topics and turn it into really great metaphors imo

this show really isn’t that bad lol it’s definitely overhated . the amount of character building over the seasons and the shit they speak on when it comes to race, puberty and like child experiences is really unique but the first season is definitely it’s worst 😭

Honestly, I like Big Mouth. It's pretty cringe, and a show abt sex w/ kids as the main characters is a big hurdle to get over, but it's shockingly good. It leans into that cringe to hilarious effect & tackles sex in a pretty smart way; not to mention there are some genuinely good emotional beats & the musical portions go pretty hard. You can tell the people behind the show care, which translates to a lot of genuine sincerity & empathy on screen. Hard not to respect that. Definitely not for everyone but a show that deserves to exist. Can't wait till the bois get to the Shame Wizard. Edit -- All that said, solid 7.5/10; above avg & delivers on its provocative premise, but is held back from being great by said premise.

The writers and creators have said a lot of the stuff they address in the show was to help them get over and discuss the issues they encountered with puberty and or the lack of openness and information on how to deal with it they also did a far better treatment of trans people and etc then family guy, south park etc ever did,

@@dumbly-stupid The idea that “we make fun of everyone” is not valid because it doesn’t excuse poor representation The issue with family guy was that it’s representation of these people and gorups was massively poor and not diverse They do the same 100 slightly altered but the same versions of the same gay joke for every gay stereotype character, it’s not even just bad representation it’s unoriginal and lazy, which is itself a bad offense.

I genuinely enjoy the show. I’d put it under guilty pleasures. It’s definitely not for everyone but they do have some very informative episodes like the one on Planned Parenthood or the ones dealing with not fitting in and dealing with depression and anxiety.

Ren and Stimpy was stylized. This show is just garbage that looks like a generic family guy knockoff. There's a distinction. You might not notice the difference between a massage and being beaten by a bat if you've gotten used to the latter to the point it's the only way you can wake up in the morning, so to speak.

It was really difficult to get through the first few seasons, but the latest one was actually really good. Lotta gross stuff, but also...knowledge..? and some really good stuff too. Andrew becomes a lot more likeable for the most part, and so does Lola. When in doubt, think of Connie. And Bonrad.
