They’re all so good, Moylan and the girls too. Rose takes a lot of chances and I’m here for it. Jomboy figured out how to make this consistently entertaining, brilliant move forking over the money to get pros. That’s got to be by far the most expensive overhead, well spent.

This is awesome. Getting baseball fans into cricket, cricket fans into baseball, and making great content. Also, I love the cricket guys' enthusiasm and how they were all eager to participate in this even though it isn't pure cricket. Great as always

I think the cricketers are going to be the most improved out of everyone in this tournament, merely because I think once they get their timing and eyesight down, the competitive nature of all athletics in them will come out. We saw that in the last over with Obus and I truly believe that once they 'get it', it's going to unlock some new level competition unseen by mortals like us. Cannot wait.

as someone with a west indian grandmother (trinidadian), it truly is a joy to see the ball in play league back. i loved playing cricket when i went to trinidad a few years back. and darren’s energy is amazing. maybe my new favorite booth duo (no offense to moylan)

Yes! Two-watcher for me! Glad to see Baggage get reinvigorated. Great game. Do the economies for the bowlers and/or batters come into the stat pages at any point? Would help to compare players, especially as the league rolls on.

I was pretty skeptical about this tournament but after only one game, it is fantastic! So fun to watch and I honestlty am enjoying it more than Blitzball. Perhaps the personalities of the teams are also better than some players in BB3.

I know the game score is the thing, but considering how Jimmy set the tone with his first over being golden, I'd swap him with Aaron for the second star, in my opinion. Jack, however, is an iron lock for three stars and I think he's going to be in the MVP considerations the entire time.

@@lukabearry1826 Hell, I wish there was an award to give Jake for his brilliant defensive work. He probably kept the run chase possible by saving some boundaries early in the innings. I think Jack's prediction of 85-90 would have come true had Jake not been there, honestly.

The tradition is for the batters to call either "yes" or "no" for a run. Depending on where the ball gets hit, either the striker or the non-striking batter can make the call, depending on who has the best view of it. And fuckups in communication still happen.

I think what they will figure out here is that with this slow pitch stuff, you actually do want to throw "bad balls" or borderline bad balls sometimes. Because they are going to get used to hitting and they will be consistently slamming 4s very soon on anything that is just floating in the middle. Since they can't throw more than 45, the best strategy is to try to jam the batters or make them chase. So once the batters get a little practice, it will be important to throw as much garbage as you can get away with. One or two bad balls is definitely better than a "perfect pitch" that becomes a 4 or 6.
