In the 90ths Manu was the biggest and greatest club all over the world, with their hardcore ultra fan culture, where all german fans looked up with a lot of respect. I was a big fan from manu, and Schweinsteiger dream was to play sometimes for this big club. Then the big TV money came and it was clear to everyone that from now United would be invincible forever! But with the billions the ultras stayed at home and the rest is history, its a shame that english football has lost its roots and now german teams, without the big TV money, sing your song, football its coming home -)

Bayern fans were singing footballs coming home to United fans on Las Ramblas in 1999 thinking they were winding up the United fans after Germany knocked England out in Euro 96.They completely missed the point that by 1999 most United fans were very anti England after the way Beckham was treated after France 98 and other anti United chants from England fans at Wembley. They were soon put in their place both off and on the pitch.
