This is my favourite moment of their whole wgm journey because you can't fall asleep next to someone you don't totally trust. You might never now what's real or scripted in this show. But by falling asleep in his arms it shows us that the trust she has in him (at that time) was completely sincere. This small scene made all the other ones feel bittersweet to me because the pain at time of the break-up would be inevitable.

This is such a sweet scene. Even though Joy was always more outwardly expressive I have no doubt Sungjae liked Joy just as much as she liked him. In the scene prior to this one Sungjae actually says that he's shy about showing his feelings on camera and that he feels the same way as Joy but he doesn't want to say it out loud. If this had just been acting for him then he wouldn't have admitted that openly and instead just played along. Instead, we have Joy and Sungjae having honest conversations and often holding back a bit from showing everything. Sungjae even said in an interview that he and Joy knew that some fans were worried so they tried to be careful. Sure he wasn't as outwardly expressive which was frustrating (and I agree he could've joked around less and handled things better at times), but if you look beyond the surface his feelings were very much real.
