The overhang to our cat's pen is a 2 foot mesh on springy holders that just flops back into the enclosure if they try to climb out. Result..cat on floor in pen😊

So cool! We have a pond that is sand and clay bottomed and keep it very clean with barley extract concentrate that we get from 123 ponds here in Florida. It takes a kicker dose and then smaller amounts for maintenance, adding a bit more for heavy rain or super hot weather. It is 100% non-toxic and might help your need to drain every week. Our pond is 100’x50 and often home to gators, otters, turtles, snakes and a lot of fish! 5 gallons last us just short of a year but I know they carry up to 55 gallon drums. The sanctuary is amazing! May it grow and thrive beyond your Florida wildest dream!

Chris was right. That is indeed a giant swimming pool and area for alligators. It's so weird getting the size into perspective when you look at how tiny Bella is inside the pool

Everyone is right about the grass. I follow a sanctuary that is in Texas and they have longhorns so he plants rye grass in the winter because it is easy to grow and it's great for cold winter temps but once that summer heat hits the rye grass dies back and since your area of Florida gets hot like Texas I'm afraid you will lose your grass soon too.

She’s a big girl. 8’ for a female gator is a nice size. I wonder if she had a nest that someone disturbed that got her in the way of humans? It is nesting season for gators.
