I had a card channel for a minute and found the giveaways were rough. The subs would go up from the giveaway then go down. Plus the chance for a scammer. To the point on commenting quickly and on all comments. I did the same thing and to an extent still do. But when your channel gets to a certain size there literally is no way youll have enough time to engage with them all. If I tried that i would spend hours a day lol. Just make sure the viewers know you appreciate them and thats all we can do bro. Thanks for the great content!!

Yeah man, giveaways- while very generous, just aren't worth it. I ran a pretty big comic book group on FB, and we'd run giveaways pretty frequently... people would come out of the woodwork for those things, and then poof, you'd never hear from them again!! Some people just need to get a j-o-b. Sorry that happened to you bro. Appreciate you and the channel, and have enjoyed watching it grow.

Sorry to hear that happened. People are unreal. Luckily only $25, glad it wasn’t a huge amount. I think the live sales and auctions work better than giveaways. Community building vs quick hits with diminishing returns.

People like that suck! Ive seen a couple scams similar where scammers create a youtube account with a similar name except one letter is changed from 0 to O and if you are even the least bit distracted, they get you. Be careful and assume everything is a scam until proven otherwise.

@@westernnycards Beware when buying retail from Target and Walmart. I've bought boxes that were opened and taped back up without any inserts. Stores won't even refund you either. Look very carefully at boxes for tape.

the shitty part is that same scammer could have made a fake youtube account with a slightly altered name using an underscore or make the letters different using the same profile pic and get you too. I saw it happen on whatnot live to a seller but they noticed it quick and didn't get screwed over. shitty world we live in.
