So glad to hear a bit of your story. I'm 64 years old and was drawn to figure skating when I saw Yulia at Sochi. That led me to KZfaq where I stumbled upon a 13 yr old Sasha Trusova. What began as curiosity turned to passion as I followed her career. Again, I'm 64 and NOBODY I knew gave a sh*t about figure skating. I began to download Sasha's videos to my FB page and a few friends and family members gained some curiosity, but overall I was still alone. Then I saw YOUR CHANNEL on KZfaq and it was like I was home. Thanks for that. And best of luck going forward in your new adventures. ❤

i think you are actually the largest independent figure skating channel i know of. most of them are small, like 20k- more like 10k- with the skatinglesson being the highest next to you which is CRAZY because i started watching around when you had 30k (around olympic year russian nationals) and i am weirdly proud to see you climbing to 111k. i remember your olympics videos blowing up in real time and i would love to see you posting again for milan 2026. heres to hoping!

The 2018 women's event did stick with me though, and so when I found your Tutberidze video I instantly clicked and discovered a lot more of the depth of figure skating storylines. I love your content not because i am interested in Figure skating. It is mainly because I feel genuity and passion from your contents. You a very rare content creator who is not focused on money making. Your contents are so real and I learnt a lot from you. I appreciate it. I remember that I found your videos so random and watched like 7 or 8 videos of it immediately. You storytelling is so amazing, not to mention that it is well researched and facts provided. It was fun to watch Kamelia's failure at Olympics while knowing her story behind of it. It is just you are so genuine and gives a so much passion. Two years ago I was home recovering from a car Accident, nothing serious, but I wasn't able to work for two weeks. So I was setting on my couch, skrolling trough KZfaq, looking for something to watch and I came acros your "Beginner's Guide to Team Tutberidze" Video and I watched it. It was really fun so watch, so I became interested and I started looking for more Videos about Figure Skating and suddenly I rememberd how much I liked watching figure skating as a child and as a teeneyer. Long story short, I redescovered my love for figure skating because of you and funny enough, Evgenia Medvedeva became my absolut favorite, as you would say "the love of my live". And till this day I still think, she is the best, no matter how many quads o tripple axels the other skaters are jumping. So, I want to thank you for making the video that bassically brought my paasion for figure skating back and thank you for your channel. It is allways fun to listen to your comments. God bless you 😃

“I've always liked things that nobody in my life has cared for"🤣That's so true to me as well : I've been into indie games in elementary school, playing it myself and watching others' tutorials/interpretations, but that's a long time ago though, then switched to indie music/films and finally figure skating(Not that it matters, but I'd always thought that music and films add depths to figure skating, which is the main reason I'm into it) So platforms/medias like this is the only place to develop unpopular hobbies, but once you found the community everything just clicks, knowing someone does care and there's still so much to explore! You don't know me but you are truly my figure skating bff haha, I love hearing you about every event or drama. I relate so much about you said, having discover a passion for the most underrated and beautiful sport and knowing nobody that is into it. I haven't seen any sport that is that epic, expressive and impressive at the same time. You never see twice the same thing and I don't know why there is not that much hyper around it. Also, leaving in Montreal, I realized how even more magical this sport is IRL, I converted few friends by bringing them the the Worlds' practices and they were mind-blowed. I also want to start a YT chanel because as you said, I was thinking that if there were more people dedicated to explain it in the best/most exciting way possible then more people could follow the sport. There is almost no sport coverage while there is so much to say about what's going on, especially these last years. Thank you for your hard work and showing all of it. There is almost no FS YT channel but yours is truly special because you have such a good vibe, it's very entertaining to hear you talking. So nice to discover your face, as everyone said you are exactly how I imagined you haha, you are so pretty and charismatic :)
