Hello, I recently went to the sea, and while studying the marine environment, something painfully stung me in the leg, I looked around and noticed a jelly-like creature in the water column, I tried to catch it and it turned out to be a small jellyfish.

jellyfish need a ball shaped tank cause they can be stuck to the side of the tank the filter is not a good idea they can get stuck inside it and die there special tank made for jellyfish you may be able to find

Nice project ! but I heard jelly fish need special tank bowl shaped to avoid sharp angles and with a bit of current. Moreover, it's important to avoid appearant pumps and filter beacause the jelly fish could get it's tentacles caught by them. Wish you success with your new friend ! 😉

Yeah it’s true these are special tanks with a flow system that keeps the jellyfish moving we have a lot of different jellyfish species that have this tank in the aquarium I work at

@@Da_Humbug1569 this guy didn't even do the basics of jellykeeping. first off, they need a special tank called a kreisel tank, it's a tank with no sharp eges and flows water al around so the jellyfish never touches the edges of the tank, you can clearly see this type of tank basically ANYWHERE THERE'S A JELLYFISH TANK (public aquariums are an example). jellyfish are very delicate creatures and rubbing their bodies onto sand and rocks is not ideal as their bodies can easily be shred to pieces. the reason they don't have this problem in the wild is because the currents usually keep the in the water collumn instead of the seafloor so they don't have to worry about rocks etc. but in a small tank like that? you can see that there's no flow and the jelly is visibly struggling to swim (dragging itself on the bottom which is gonna eventually shred its body). also on another note, this person should not keep ANY pets whatsoever. why? he didnt even research what the animal eats until AFTER he went and got the jellyfish. truly a terrible person with no sense or logic. better leave jellyfish keeping to the professionals or hobbyists who actually cares for their pets

@@hakimmahardhikaproductions5160You are so correct, and he should do research before getting a jellyfish you can’t just put a jellyfish in a normal tank it needs a specific tank with a constant water flow, and no corners. This is proof why people need to do research before getting an animal he just found it at the beach he probably doesn’t know what kind of jellyfish this is, it could be any jellyfish it could be a dangerous, and if it was he would hurt the jellyfish and himself. Never attempt to take animals if you are not a professional or if you didn’t do research.
