In today's vlog we show you our experience at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, the day before the hurricane. We went to the party on opening night as well, which was also pretty stormy & rainy so we bought tickets to another party hoping for less rain but we didn't realize that we would have similar weather at this party. We still had a great time, even with the rain. We also got to see the halloween cavalcade instead of the parade, which was interesting to see. Then we saw the fireworks spectacular in b-mode as well, they didn't have the Jack Skellington puppet out, instead they used a projection, which was a bit of a bummer but still cool to see. So although we didn't get the full party entertainment it was definitely a unique party. We also were able to go through a bunch of the treat trails and got a full bag of candy. Our area inland in Hardee County got hit hard by Ian. We had 4 deaths here, flooded homes and neighborhoods, roads and bridges washed away and lots of wind damage. We were out of power for a week and some still have no power. Ian stalled over us at a cat 2 storm for several hours dropping an incredible amount of rain. All said and done at least we walked away with our lives. Material things can be replaced or repaired. Lives are most important. I want to say RIP to all who lost their lives. Hugs and prayers to the families of those victims. 🙏Stay safe everyone! ❤❤

I am so sorry your area had so much damaged and you had to go through it. I think it’s like so many other things , unless your don’t know first hand , it’s hard to understand how deep your emotions . I hope you will be able to rebuild and have happy days going forth .

My husband and I were at the Halloween party on 13th September. We were very lucky to get no rain at all. It had rained a bit during the afternoon but the rain went away before the party so we were so happy. The only thing we didn’t get that night was pirates of the Caribbean as it was down all night. The Halloween party is awesome and so much fun. It’s ashame you didn’t get some of the Halloween festivities that night, although you guys got a lot of candy which is a bonus. So happy for you all with your new baby boy coming soon. Congratulations. Love watching you all everyday. Jackson is just the cutest, I work with children as my career and Jackson is so clever and adorable ❤

hi jen, Tim and Jackson. I've been watching your videos for around 4 years now. it was so nice to meet you all today at gatorland. I didn't really know what to say it just seemed odd to finally see you out and about. me and my dad are on vacation from sheffield in England, sadly we leave on our flight home on Thursday. thank you for the photo op and i hope you enjoyed your train ride. did you do the gator feeding? me and my dad did that and the buggy ride. both were lots of fun.

Love the Halloween Holiday at Disney Parks. These are the Halloween things I want to do. I don't like Haunted Scary Houses, Disney Halloween is my kind. This is Spectacular. Hi Tim and jen I'm in kissimmee florida for my hoilday. I went on the 13th Oct a Thursday to mickeys not so scary and I had so much fun my frist time. I filled the bag all the way up and the parade was amazing I will definitely do it again.

We were there and canceled our MNSSHP tickets because of the weather. Used that money to extend our stay by 2 days. Enjoyed the wind & rain as 2 rest days. Then back at it on Friday and Saturday. My son & I got last minute reservations this night for Steakhouse 71. It was fabulous. Hate we missed the party... but we did have a great dinner instead.

We were just there for the party last Tuesday. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a Disney park and makes it very difficult to ever want to visit another park during the day with all those crowds. We were able to get on and off and back on again all the most popular rides we rode big thunder mountain back to back right before midnight, and we were the only ones on the ride.

The scariest experience for me was riding the people mover on my own on a train with only 2 others for the first time ever and it going through space mountain with the lights off. The music, the no idea if you were moving or not… absolutely terrifying

My daughter & I went to the party on September 16th. It rained the entire night. Luckily not horrible downpours, but nonetheless we were wet the entire party!! But we had so much fun. We saw the rain version of the parade and fireworks. Also an abbreviated version of the hocus pocus stage show. Our treat bags were filled to the top by the end of the party and we had our favorite chicken nachos at Pecos Bill. So glad we went.

My daughter, her best friend, and I went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party on September 18 and the weather was perfect! It didn’t rain and there were 2 buckets at each treat location. We loved it! I plan to go to more “special events” in the future!

Very few of the candy locations in Florida are designing as treat "trails," which means more than one candy bucket. They are just treat "stops" when it's a single bucket.

It’s good to see Disney giving out chocolate candy and candy you recognize. I took my kids about 12 hrs ago and the candy was horrible. Some kind of hard candy and there was only 3 different kinds. We ended up throwing it all away. I was very disappointed in the candy trails but it was fun to do MK at night with all the decorations.

Glad for you that you're not bothered by spice in your pregnancy, Jenn. I wish I could eat more spicy stuff, and I'm not even pregnant - going to see a GI in a few weeks due to my constant heartburn. Love the live actors in Pirates - reminds me of "the wonderful Disney of old" (90's) that I loved, and miss! The Werther's Sugar Free Hard Caramels are DELCIOUS, and you wouldn't even know they're sugar free! I suck on them to keep my mouth moist - can't chew gum. I like the Caramel Coffee and Caramel Chocolate Sugar free hard candies the best. Socially distanced hugs to the 3 (soon to be 4!!!!!) :) of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

I love Cali and Disneyland is definitely my home park……buuuutttttt love the Magic Kingdom fireworks so much better than the Disneyland ones. Probably because Disneyland has all the restrictions because of the local residents. WDW’s fireworks are such an experience that doesn’t disappoint.
