I used to work for the British government. Yes, they have a specific seat for each person at such dinners. Your name tag is there, you can't miss it. They want people to mingle, rather than you sitting with your friends. They also consider having you sit next to someone that is relevant to you (either by field of work, etc.) so you can strike up a conversation easily.

Their YT channel is Korean Englishmen, a fun channel. They introduce the English to Korean food and drink. Where they were seated was not random, the palace knew they were Korean fluent. So they hit the jackpot!!! They sat with Blackpink, so they could assist with translating as needed.

I live it :) I still can't wrap my head around what happened - I really cannot compute :) Really, all four ladys of Blackpink got invested with an MBE by King Charles himself, Rosé being a citizen of the Commonwealth now having the privilege of being wed in St. Pauls Cathedral in London (where coronation usually takes place!), all four ladys being invited to a state banquet in the Buckingham Palace (very few mortals have that honor) and being served food from Queen Victorian plates... Sorry, I really cannot compute. I cannot understand how this could've happened :) I'm so happy for Blackpink, but at the same time i'm in sheer awe! Apparently the sky is NO limit for them! I knew about these men when they tried Indonesian snacks, and I am Indonesian. The channel's name is Jolly. After few watchings, I knew that they have another channel called KoreanEnglish Men. In this channel they try to introduce Korean Food. And, I am also interesting in Korean Culture, especially the drama and Blackpink (I am a Blink, though). I am also interesting in England History, especially being a fan of Kate Middleton because of her style/fashion. So, this news is so surprising and mindblowing for me. I am the fan of these people (Josh-Ollie and Blackpink). My idols have dinner together in Buckingham Palace!!! 🤯🤯🤯 The crazy thing is as Blink, I didn't catch or have news about Blackpink have flight and visiting England. Booom! They appear like a queen with those beautiful dress walking in that red carpet hall way of Buckingham Palace. 🤯 Just being proud for all of them ❤

A bit random. But these guys are funny. I’ve said before they have a video with British rappers and YG choreographer Lee Jung. They also have one with woogie a big Korean producer and they make a song. Crazy how far they have come. Off the top of my head they have 20 min episodes with Ryan Reynolds, Lewis Hamilton, David Beckham, Arnold Schwarzenegger and a heap more. If you ever branch out they are funny guys.

The guards are ceremonial. But real. I think the beafeaters are retired soldiers. The rest are dressed up current soldiers. The ones you see tourists taking photos of all dressed up. The next day will be in barracks in proper military gear ready to go. Normally the guns aren’t loaded but for something like this they probably are.
