First lets head off for a morning adventure to Meji Jingu Shrine before we head to Takeshita street in Harajuku, try delicious street food, then head to the Anime Electric town of Akihabara

I loved that you started so early. It was nice seeing things when it was quiet. The walk through the beautiful forest to the temple was my favourite thing. The rest of the day was cuteness overload! Congrats on winning a prize!

Amazing vlog. My husband and I should have gone to Japan for our 25th wedding anniversary/ our 50th birthdays back in 2020, but got cancelled for covid. I absolutely love these videos! I was fortunate to visit Tokyo in 2019 and did many of the same things as you are. Our pet cafe of choice was Hedgehogs and they were to die for! I could literally spend forever talking about our trip and the things I would do when we eventually go again.

Love the video!!! The kimonos are summer ones called Yukata (you-kah-tah) made of cotton for the hot summer months and used during Obon (Oh-boh- N) Festival Season. I love watching you wide-eyed and excited!!! So glad you had this wonderful experience! 🥰🎐🪴🍙🍡🍮🍱

@@catherinekayy I don't think it's possible to really know what goes into making a video unless you've done it yourself! All those little details like adding text and descriptions is so time consuming. We only started making videos 6 months ago, and I had no previous experience editing. There's been quite the learning curve..😂 So any time I see someone put so much work into their videos, I notice, and have a real appreciation for it. 😊

The best part of these videos to me is always how happy and joyful you are and how you enjoy the little things - my goal is to focus more on finding joy and excitement in everything. Have you always been like thos or have you trained yourself / changed your mindset? I absolutely want to visit japan. My husband has already been there a couple of times for work and he has to go back in 3 weeks so we watched this video together❤ thank you so much for sharing. I love those soft boil egg! they are my favourite. They are seasoned. The slightly raw one is the onsen tamago, I love those too, they come with a really nice sauce, excellent with noodles. I am soooo happy you are enjoying Japan!!!! It is also interesting to see your perspective compared to mine as I am from Hong Kong, so I do grew up going to Japan since high school~

Such a long day with so many wonderful things - so fun to watch. Yes, Daiso is like a Japanese dollar/pound store. We have them in California but with the supply shortage the prices went up to $1.75. I love shopping there for all the small storage items. My grown daughter just adopted her new kitty from a cat cafe
