Actually if he slept on the bed or in the house he would fall asleep like that and flip on is back without attention anything. I always knew nothing was wrong with them, they are in perfect bliss. I had 4 goldens sleeping on my bed. all on there back. Woke up many times from a tap. Would be one of his paws then staring at his balls. He was lined up along the pillow. I even have dog beds along the dog side of bed. One golden ws on her back dead asleep did not realize at corner. She did the from back sleeping to sleeping side fell off the bed. Ever since Orvis think dog beds so nobody gets hurt. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤i always was jealous of my dogs when they sleep like that. Knowing i have never felt that bliss.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Puppy get the protection until 7 weeks from moms milk. So no idea what if any loss of protection off mom early. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Ahhh…. Herc! Taw-weee ! Bless ur heart! Same thing happened to our GSD. She ripped off a toenail and it grew back wonky. Vet cleaned it up and gave her an antibiotic injection. She did fine. ❤️

Hello Kyle and Shanon The inside cardboard from the wrap(tape) …. If you split it in two (too top to bottom) it can be used as a splint. We keep vet wrap in the house for all kinds of injuries. You did great! Driving a tractor is amazing!! The trail looks great. I hope that Herc heals quickly. Blessings ❤ ~Linda

Yesterday I noticed after you talked about the lice situation I noticed that Blue was showing signs of having them and I know that you said you had checked them all but you might want to double check her. Poor Herc… glad you jumped on getting him cleaned up and ready for vet care!! So glad Shannon is getting on that tractor and killing it! Great job!! But I have to say the best part of the video was Kyle’s guinea hens going to help him!! They really crack me up!! Such funny birds!! Love all of this thanks for bringing us along on your day!!❤

Good job Shanon and Kyle! Brewster, One of my Dachshunds came hobbling in one day with the same type of injury. I took him to the vet, they X-rayed his foot, One of his toes was broken! It was crazy seeing that little tiny break. It's been close to 20 years, I think I put him in the X-Pen for a few days, it healed up nicely. Best of luck, Guys! I love you all. 💘🙏🦮🐕🐐🐾

QUESTION: Is there an emergency animal hospital that you can take him to? I hope he doesn’t have a fractured foot or a serious cut. I’m so grateful that you two are able to work with Herc together to provide him some immediate help. Poor Herc… I’m so glad you were able to get an early appointment for him to be seen by the vet. I can see him all healed up and back to his usual routine. He’s just so sweet laying there. He knows that you two are helping him. I’m so proud of him… and I’m proud of you two. Thank you for being there for our sweet Hercules. 🐕 💛💛💛

Glad you have pain meds for him because if it is an injury to the nail , those are painful because they have a big blood supply. Poor Herc. Kisses to him.

Shanon get some Coban wrap to keep on hand & ditch the wraps. Caban is self adherant without being sticky, tacky or a need for tape. We literally use it for countless things in nursing, even soft splints. It's very affordable too. Hope Herc is on the mend. Great job guys!

I had a german shepherd who caught a toe in a log while running. She split the skin between two toes and broke a toenail. These things happen to active big dogs. Disinfectant wound spray and antibiotic wound powder right away is the best you can do. Great job with your nursing care!

Shannon, now your a Farm Girl❤ I started driving a tractor @ 6yrs old. On my 16th Birthday I got a new tractor & a set of double rakes As soon as it was haying time I was in the fields raking the hay up so we could come back & bale the hay up. Stay Safe & Healthy Keeping Hercules in my prayers.
