Not long after the pool party the boys started to feel a little mopey. It turns out that all the pups caught a cold so they will need some rest and pampering for sure.

In their own way, they do understand her. They go by the inflections in her voice and the actual sounds of the words mean different things. Canine scientists have estimated that dogs can understand a vocabulary of around 150 words....IF they are trained to associate the sound of the word with the action, request, reward, task etc. Tucker and Todd have a very stimulating and interesting life with humans that train them, so I think they do "get it" although not how we might perceive it. I've had GSDs all my adult life and I know they are very adept at putting together the sound of a word, with vocal inflection, facial expression and body language.

Thank you for sharing this. 5 days ago I lost my sweet Riley Pie suddenly after 18 years of unconditional love and friendship. He was a Border Collie/ BlackLab mix. I'm grieving so deeply for my baby and watching these videos are making me smile and laugh again! Hug your fur babies longer, cherish every single moment, and do not take your pets for granted. Life with our pets are a true God send and a blessing! ❤😊

One of the bed things you can do for a dog/cat/kid with a cold (upper respitory infection) is to close them in a steamed up bathroom. I have 2 older cats with chronic URI and I bought a hot mist vaporizer for them.
