Today we saw something we have never seen before, only in Kathmandu, Nepal.
As we started our day exploring Kathmandu, we encountered a friendly Nepali local, or that's what we thought... (watch until the end to find out).
Our first stop was Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupa's in Nepal. We arrived when people were carrying out the Kora practice.
20 minute walk from Bouddhanath Stupa is Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temple's in Nepal. In this temple the Hindu people carry out cremations for their loved ones.

cremating bodies is hindu culture. its said the body needs to be burned for the soul to be released to heaven. its not jst a kathmandu thing . Temples and all would never be closed, esp for festivals. i hope u have a grt rest of ur trip.

Use indrive or patho so get affordable price on taxi but i recommend you indrive this is more cheaper then patho
