My Dad was in the Navy in the Pacific in WWII. He saw many who never made it home from battle. Never talked about it much. Fought in Wake and Leyte. RIP those who valiantly fought.🇺🇸✝️

I have never had goats or sheep but what I have learned from watching KZfaq videos. Sheep are better at grazing pastures, and goats are better at foraging in the underbrush. They both have cute babies.

That is why cattlemen didn't want sheep on their pastures. It's because the sheep will eat the grass down to the ground. The way cattle eat, they need a little height on the grass so they can rip it with their tongue. Goats aren't that crazy about grass. They like weeds and leaves the best.

I used a special healing spray for tree bark (Got it at local Agway) on the maple tree in my garden. You can also wrap with a special wrap made to assist healing. Good luck with your special trees. As a kid, putting up a flag for the holidays had a bigger impact than the year or two we had a flag pole for daily flying of the flag. We generally put the flag in its holder about a week before and at least a couple of days after the assorted holidays.

Take those dogs seriously. A few years ago, a local woman was severely mauled by dogs one day while running. After many surgeries she is blessed to be alive. The owners should be alerted as well as the police.

Sheep are grazers, while goats are more browsers. Goats eat more weeds and small trees. Sheep tend to stick to grasses, hay and grain.

A flag pole would be great and they have a solar flag light that you put on the pole for your "flag lighting"! Great shade for the sheep! Goats eat weeds and leaves and bark and sheep eat mostly grass and some weeds!( in my opinion, I have neither, just observational) God Bless!

After 3 combat tours, and loosing a few people, Memorial Day takes on a different meaning from when I was growing up. Couple of farmers here in Colorado that run both sheep and goats in the same pastures. The goats eat the brush and weeds, while the sheep eat the grass. LOL, I love Harbor Freight. Over half of my toolbox is Harbor Freight tools. I was there, today, in fact. Got a magnetic cup holder and an extendable breaker bar.

We've been in the area a few times but didn't know about the stores! We were in Branson all week and decided to visit there yesterday-had fun exploring the same stores, I think we were at least at 7 of them! And got some goodies at the Amish Cheese house! Then headed to Tulsa where we will stay till heading home on Monday back to Kansas! Have a blessed and safe Memorial Day!

Memorial day is a time for reflection on the lessons and sacrifices of the past that make us a great and united people. My solution 'for dogs that chase is bear mace.' One shot and no more problems! Stop turn command the animal to go home, look em in the eye and sternly say 'bad dog', and if they still come at you, hit them with it. Stay still till they have returned to their property, this will reduce prey drive for the attack and further reinforce that you are no fun to chase. It may seem cruel, but it is crueler to allow bad behavior toward humans. The next victim could be a child.

I used to carry pepper spray while I cut grass. I'm in the city and the yards are fenced, but the dogs were so big they could have walked across the fence from one family. I think you should video the dogs that chase you and have a weekly DOG OF SHAME piece in your videos, maybe the owners of these unruly canines will be more aware of their dogs whereabouts. I'd say sheep are the way to go rather than goats. Sheep are more gentle, less destructive, less stinky and they are a better eating food source if you ask me. Oh... and they are much cuter to boot!

Goats are foragers. Sheep are grazers. For your setup you’ll probably be better in the long term with sheep. You’re already a cow guy, and sheep are more similar to cows than are goats. Either way I’m sure you’ll make it work. John.

I had pepper spray on my key chain for years and never had to use it. Always had it in my hand when walking. One day a man was walking towards me in a parking lot, saw my hand and did a 90° turn.

I am dominant right, a nurse, and always wore my watch on left hand. Activities with right hand were rough on watch and always got in the way.

Best mobile chicken coop. Saw them with white shade tarp. Maybe u can order them. Enjoy yur vids❤😊❤

They have a solar topper for the flag poles. That is what I got. I now fly my flag all the time. I’ve had to buy a new one cause our sun is so hot it finally scorched the solar light so it quit working. And with the wind I get I don’t extend the pole to maximum height. Wish I could put it clear up but afraid it will just take the pole cement and all down. So for last 10 years only 3/4 raised. Happy Memorial Day weekend. REMEMBER OUR FALLEN HEROS.

Thanks for protecting Ransom's tree. Looks awesome. The debate on sheep vs goats depends on what you want done. Goats will forage, eat weeds, but leave length on grass. The sheep are grazers and will devower grass right to the dirt. Sometimes not whats best for the pasture, so... what do you want. Both have really cute babies. Sheep need to be sheared, goats don't. Perhaps you could find someone who works the wool n makes things. Never know. Nice to see chicken tractor fixed n moved. I'm sure the chickens appreciate the new wheels.
