Im sure coaching to the level he does with all details involved and pressure on the group and him as individual is extremely taxing , cant imagine going trough that for so much longer . Agreed for a manager that isnt expected to win it every single year , but this is the standard he set for himself. The expectations from the players , board and even media towards him must be very demanding and i almost wanted to say he shoud enjoy some of the money he made and live in peace the final 20-30 years of his life but then again he probably loves nothing more in life then what he does now may it continue for as long as possible

His love for the cigarette and cigar will be his downfall. He will have chipped of a lot of his life span because of this but sometimes geniuses don’t need to be here for 80yrs. These big characters come for it fast. The man is a pure genius and should be appreciated in every way for spreading his genius throughout the roots of the Premier league. At the beginning maybe his mentality did not completely match the English style of football. He had to learn to master the second ball, the iron fist of the English game. Today it feels he is as English as ever, a big heart for the game, to give his all and to try and win all everything on the pitch and to go and go and go, every 2 days, every 3 days. Whatever. This is the English way and he really is a mark of this. Exceptional.

Pep talking about using the Media to send messages to the players and club it's nothing short of a mental genius in the modern game. I know many managers do this but pep does it time again to get a reaction. I remember a conference where someone asked about walker playing a role when he was out the team for a bit when pep was going through that chopping and changing stage. Best coach the Premier has ever had, no comparison with Ferguson. Pep improves players, innovates and his teams continually evolutionise. I'm happy to see him succeed, he deserves it.

Pretty clear today the difference in managerial approaches. Pep demands his players do as he says, a player said today we play on the field but we play thru Peps eyes. Poor old Lamps ( not his fault I like him but he is no manager) brought out a $750M team ( 600M pounds sterling) that does not play together and for the first time in PL era has not got to 50 points and in the lower half. Pep reminds me of the great leaders, of which there are many, Sir Matt Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, and earlier Capello, Di Stefano, Sir Alf Ramsey, not trying to leave any out, I could go on. Listen to the comments of the players towards their coaches how they dictate play, dictate training and off field activities. The best ones get results, the rest do not, the league table never lies.
